“Great food & fantastic location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

We booked Sanaa the day before we visited using the new Disney APP & managed to get a table for 2 for 5.05pm (just after opening). We weren't staying onsite but had no problems driving in, getting parked & finding the restaurant.

We got there a little early & took the opportunity to view the animals from the attached walkway & verandah-which was great, very peaceful.

We were seated right as the restaurant opened & had a good table-not right at the windows overlooking the animals but with a great view all the same. We saw giraffes, zebra & ostrich as well as birds as we ate.

We ordered the bread basket, which was delicious with 3 chutneys rather than all 9, I think the bread plus 3 were $9. We chose the mango, which used fresh mangos, tamarind chutney & red pepper hummus. They were all fantastic.

We decided to try the sharing appetiser, I can't remember everything on it but it did have samosas & a chick pea kind of pâté with some lamb kofta. They were all very nice. Again I can't be exact on price but about $15.

We both chose the same mains, we were going to mix & share but decided to just get what we both fancied, which happened to be the combo: butter chicken & the Bison curry in a tamarind gravy with pilau rice. They each come in little bowls. These were so nice & you get a decent portion too. These were $21 each & worth every penny.

We were very full by then & couldn't manage dessert! We had a great meal in a fantastic location and would go back & highly recommend. It's a bit more expensive than some other disney restaurants & is more than a lot of I-drive eateries but it's so worth it.

We had great service too and really enjoyed visiting this restaurant.

“Great unique experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

Wonderful atmosphere! Service was great but the food was fabulous. This is food you don't find in many places, so it was great to sample different dishes. We had the bread sampler and also the salad sampler. Both gave us options that were unique and very delicious. My husband and I were almost fighting over the Bhel Puri salad!!! My husband chose the Butter Chicken entree and I chose the leg of lamb. His was great, mine was ok. The overall experience was excellent and we look forward to returning on our next visit to Disney!

“Great experience away from the usual Disney crowd.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

Seated as soon as we arrived despite a later reservation. Asked for Savannah view and were accommodated without issue. Great atmosphere. Saw plenty of animals and had great food. Our server Bill, was helpful and attentive. He recommended the naan bread appetizer which was a great choice. Durden chicken and shrimp (SPICY) and tandoori chicken were ordered and were very good. A nice complimentary dessert was provided to our daughter for her birthday. Nice touch.
