“Good hotel for price and location”
Reviewed May 20, 2010

My wife and I stayed at the enclave suites for 6 nights. We were in the Suites II block and the receptionist said that the hotel was a condo hotel so potentially not all rooms are of the same standard or have been renovated at the same time. This review is based on the Suite II block so remember that if comparing to other reviews or your own experience.

Our room was spacious and had kitchen facilities, we didn't cook but probably could have done pasta dishes if we had wanted to. Was always kept clean by the cleaning staff. Reception staff were helpful with any queries we had about parks etc... There are a number of pools, we didn't use them but they look good and seemed popular with other guests. The breakfast is a grab and go idea which is what is stated by the hotel. You get fruit, pastry and juice each which is handy to take to the parks. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and easy journey to all the parks.

We had no complaints at all about the Enclave suites and if we go back to Orlando wouldn't hesitate to book again

Great location Great Staff
The services from the Hotel are Great We used them all the time They were well priced and took the Hassle out of everything ,Nothing wrong with the breakfeast in the morning we upgraded from the continental to the all you can eat .
Its an Old Hotel which could do with a serious make over .
The rooms were clean and big . The Carpet is very old throughout and desperatly needs changeing .We were in the third block and heard no external noise . We spent very little time at the hotel
All in all its a great location and the Staff were the most genuine I have ever experienced .I would stay there again.

We have stayed in literally hundreds of different places both on park properties and off in Orlando. We currently have passes to Universal and just finished a year with Disney passes and another 2 years before that with Universal passes. Coming from someone who is very experienced with staying in the area, unless you are some sort of prima donna, The Enclave Suites are one incredibly awesome value.

Disregard the bad reviews you see on here, my guess is they come from one of three types of people. 1. Competitors 2. Just idiots without a spine enough to talk to someone if something is not to their liking or 3. People who have nothing better to do than to complain about everything around them in life and focus on the negative!

At check in, they were willing to shift our room just because we wanted a different view for goodness sakes. Very nice and always accommodating staff! Awesome sizable rooms with balconies and great views all around (stay in 2 bedrooms suites, worth the extra living area). Nice free bag breakfast with danish, fruit and juice, or upgrade (we did) for just 3.99 adult and 2.99 kids to warm buffet with excellent eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast, etc. Pools are some of the best kept we have seen including some of those on park properties. Indoor pool is really nice to have open 24 hours a day. Small playground on property as well! Rooms are clean and neat! House keeping does an excellent job! Staff are super! Furnishing are a little old, but in just fine condition, especially considering the price for the place! Micro was old dial type, but worked perfectly!

In the end, it is pretty awesome to sit on a balcony in the morning with your coffee and wife and watch the sunrise across a lake, grab a breakfast in an on site resort style food court and game room facility, go to any of the parks with great ease of access, return to take a dip in one of 3 perfectly kepts pools, let the kids play on a playground while you and your wife walk to the gazebo overlooking the lake, have a staff willing to do almost anything for you at any time. Yeah, if you focus on the positives, you will find that this is truly a First Class Resort for the price of your local Motel. This is our new favorite place to stay in Orlando, and I am sure that it will be for a very long time.

We went to florida may 2009 booked through thomas cook price wasnt to bad but when allocated our room i was disappointed so i did complain to reception and was told to come back tommorrow which i did and was offered another room but it was of the same sandard so i very calmly explained that i would not sleep on the sofa bed so i would not expect my teenage son to do so .it was filthy wallpaper coming away from the walls so the gave me keys to another room on the 10th floor and oh my god it was perfect .veranda was huge you could see for miles and at night we saw disney fireworks.
the staff at the hotel were great but rooms need urgent tlc

If you are going to stay at this Hotel/Suites resort make certain you ask for the remodeled side. Regretably, we didn't look at the reviews first and we are from Florida and should have known better. We were booked in Building 3 rm. It was a 2 bd, 2 bath, with kitchen and balcony. The price seemed like a deal for $98, being that we wanted to be within walking distance to I-drive. WE SO REGRETTED OUR DECISION. The lobby is nice and at first glance, the grounds are decent. The little pizza pub was a nice option but the rms were, um, well awful. The elevators sounded like they were cranked manually. The Carpet smells and is old. The door to our rm looked like it had been kicked in before. Then upon entering our room, we couldn't figure out what that smell was. Hair was in our beds, the showers etc. Underwear & a garter hung in the tree. The sink leaked and flooded the kitchen. It was fixed and the manger said she would give us a discount on our next stay...no Thanks. Buuuut the location was alright, so enter at your own risk and ask for a better building.

The buildings and rooms do need some refurbishment. We were stranded for an extra 13 days and were treated like family. Albert, Vera, Ko, Carlos, Lydia, Celi, Dalia and Burnett deserve official recognition.

we stayed at the hotel in February for a week and found it quite nice except for the evening weather brrrr coold. We decided to go back in March for two weeks on March 19th and requested a rate from the manager. The rate beat others in the area so we accepted. The best I can say is we will be returning to this resort next year unbelievable rates. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can't find a better location just off international drive. The trolley system for the area is superb, you really don't need a vehicle. Our room was excellent and the cleaning staff were top notch. The breakfast staff were entertaining thank you Burnett. Again, thank you manager, Melissa and staff for a great holiday.
