I have just returned after a 10 night stay here with my girlfriend (both in our 20's)I felt the need to write a review after some of the negative comments i see here frustrate me. We did ask for a renovated room which we got. We had a 50" flat screen TV a very comfortable queen sized bed and a sensible kitchen although we did not need to use it. A lovely spacious room and incredibly clean and quiet. The pool area was very clean also.
We were visiting parks most day, its location is perfect with plenty of resturants within a couple of mins walk. I see people moaning about "not being a 5* hotel"... it does not claim to be one! The Complementart Breakfast is another topic people seem to moan about. The way i see it is that you are paying for an apartment you shoulnt expect breakfast in the 1st place. I think a kind jester from the hotel to provide you with a small drink and snack for your journey to a park is a bonus. If you want to help yourself to the buffet its only $5! if you dont like it dont bother eating it you can get breakfast for $3.99 within a 5 minute walk!
We paid £32/ night for the both of us which is so soo cheap! you cant even get a travellodge for this money. If your planning on going to this resort please dont be put of by the negative reviews. These are mainly written by people who cant open their eyes.£32/night...what do you expect? I would pay double this cost to stay here again. Fantastic!
Just a note to those who love to moan and write unreasonable comments. If you want to stay in a 5* hotel than you actully have to pay for one!

Room Tip: Our room 2214.

This is our 7th stay at this wonderful hotel. I can't understand what all the negative reviews are for. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels and resorts we are more then used to quality and service. This hotel provided us yet again with superb service. This is not a five star hotel and does not claim to be either however the SERVICE, STAFF and LOCATION are 5 star. To explain:
We stayed in a top floor studio facing the lake complete with kitchen and large terrace which has a table and chairs along with sun loungers......it was beautiful as it always is. The only downside and I am splitting hairs here was our sofa bed mattress, it was past it's best, we called down to reception and within 10 mins tops we had a lovely new mattress. Now that is service and always with a smile too. It's also fair to say that management are not to know about a worn mattress unless guests bring it to their attention rather then leaving it and moaning about it when they get home. The staff here go well out of their way to make your stay the best one, they always have and that is why we have returned 7 times and are already in the process of booking for next year.
The location of this hotel is wonderful....the BEST IN ORLANDO without any hesitation, we should know, been there enough.
The transport at the hotel is provided by a lovely family run business and is called RESORT TRANSPORTATION, Nixon, Julia, Samantha and Nixon Jr who operate this service are four of the friendliest people one could hope to meet. They are genuine, honest and completely reliable. Having been ripped of by local cabs more than once we never use anyone else. We know our family is in safe hands with the transport provided by them.
As mentioned before the staff at the hotel are outstanding, a special thank you to Bernadette who has been at the hotel for years, she remembers our family but especially our children and goes out her way to say hello and have a carry on with our boys. All of these positive attributes makes for a perfect family holiday at a first class Orlando hotel.
Please don't be put off by some of the negative reviews, I am happy to answer any of your concerns about visiting this wonderful hotel.
Thank you again to all at the Enclave Suites Hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a large terrace over looking the lake. You can see Hogwarts Castle and Universal...

This is the third time we have stayed in these suites and always about the same time of year. We know the rooms are not five star but are ideal for our needs. The central location and the indoor 24 hr pool are a big attraction to us. It is a two min walk on to International Drive with a wide verity of eating places all with in a 10 min walk.
The rooms are comfortable with balconies and kitchen facilities, we had two rooms a double for us and a twin for the wife's mum, brother and niece. Again the room was ideal for our purpose. We have previously stated in tower 1 and this time stayed in tower 2 and found no difference other than the view.
They do a complimentary grab bag breakfast which included fruit, a cake or pastry and apple juice.
The pools and the pool area was clean and the indoor 24 hr pool was great at the end of a hard day the parks.
There is a free shuttle bus to Universal and Terry the bus driver deserves a reward as the most entertaining of all the bus drivers anywhere I've ever seen, 3 years we've seen him and his routines never get tiring "B is for Best"

If you want 5 star luxury this is not for you, but it you want somewhere clean and tidy as a good base for your holiday you can't beat Enclave Suites.

Room Tip: If staying in tower 2 odd numbered rooms give a pool view, tower 1 has pools on both sides but tower...

This was our second visit to the Enclave and we were as pleasantly surprised as the first time. We stayed on the fifth floor in Block 3 and had a great view over the lake and down to the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As I stated in a previous review do not be put off by some off the reviews, we were very apprehensive before we ever went to the Enclave but were happily surprised when we first arrived there. While yes, some of the rooms are a little dated they are clean and kept well. This time we got a refurbished room which was very nice. The Reception staff were great and could not do enough to help. I think its all about expectations, if you are travelling expecting a five star hotel then yes you may be disappointed. But, if you are looking for in our opinion a clean well run establishment that is central to International Drive and only a trolley ride away from both the shopping outlets and theme parks then the Enclave will tick all the boxes. You also have the Pirates Dinner Adventure and TGI Fridays just opposite. The Enclave has two pools which are extremely clean. We will definitely be back in 2013 and remember, have a brilliant holiday and take care. Thank you to the Enclave staff for yet another brilliant holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a lake view, it really is nice to see when you wake up.

Arrived back on 5th November after a week at Enclave Suites. Well I have to say I do not know what all the negative reviews are about! I emailed prior to going to request an refurbished room but they told us on arrival that they were very full and it was not possible but they had given us a 2 bed suite with a balcony overlooking the pool/lake. As you can imagine I was dreading what we were going to find. It was totally adequate for our needs, no insects, no thread bare curtains/carpets or linen. It was cheap as chips and such a bargain in my view. We didn't bother with the breakfast so cannot comment on that. The only negative comment I have is that the lifts were busy most of the time but seriously that is all. We were out of the suite by 10am each day and back to catch some sun around the pool. Everything was fairly basic but what do you expect for the money. Perhaps the rooms/suites differ but suite1606 although not refurbished, was totally adequate. The position of the Hotel is brilliant, a couple of minutes walk to TGI's & Chilli's and International Drive. We will definitely go back.

I am laying in bed at Enclave now. Have been here 3-4 times never have seen room like in pics. no flat screens. No tile or overstuffed furniture. House keeping every 3rd night. Only bring clean towels if you request them. It is one block from I-drive. This time is the worst it has ever been. We have stayed in the past due to location. This time we wish we would have stayed some place else. Hannah at night is great. The other staff i worked with sucked. i guess those pics on this site are from the suits we never seen. We are a family that stays in kids sweet or 2 bedroom. they are nothing like pics. they are usually clean and decent. You get what you pay for. We paid for location this trip, because other then Hannah at night there was no service. Not sure if we would stay again. Good luck.

We stayed as a family of four, travelling with Thomsons. We arrived and was directed to the middle block, 5th Floor - first apartment on the left as leaving the lift. The room was not as refurbished as we expected and the general appearance was scruffy with ant like bugs living int he bathroom- oh and 1 huge cockroach that my husband declined to mention as it would freak me out!. Miss Yancy allocated us a large suite on the 10th Floor, still in the same block and the transformation was amazing. It was more modern, clean with a huge terrace balcony. After the fuss we made we didn't dare complain about the huge Air conditioning Tower and constanting loud humming and trickling water sounds but surprisingly - we didn't notice it after a couple of days! Unfortunately all the suites are privately owned and its a bit of a lottery when you arrive as to what level of refurbishment you get. The staff do the best they can with what they have and will do all they can to make your stay a pleasureable holiday - for that they deserve 5*s. We had a lovely holiday despite the initial setbacks!

Room Tip: Unfortunately - you wont know until you get there!. 10th Floor, overlooking the lake, middle block...
