“Beautiful Shrine”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The Shrine is a wonderful place to visit and/or attend Mass. The exterior of the building and the grounds are beautifully kept. The outside Mother and Child Chapel is beautiful and is a wonderful place to light a candle. Inside the Shrine is beautifully decorated with several wonderful sculptures. If you are interested in religious architecture (as I am) then you owe it to yourself to spend time looking at the intricate design details of the structure. And, of course, the Shrine is a wonderful place to offer up a prayer, or simply spend some quite time away from the hustle and stress than can, unfortunately, define many a well planned Orlando vacation.

There is an art gallery and museum that are located inside the same building as the gift shop. Be sure to take time to take in both of these attractions. The Gift Shop itself is also well maintained and offers a large selection of religious items. The selection of books at this shop is amazing in and of itself.

If you need to speak with a Priest during your visit (and it is not a Mass time) simply tell a member of staff, and they will be happy to locate one for you.

Even if you are not Catholic you owe it to yourself to take in the beauty that the Shrine offers.

This Shrine is a definate must place to visit and attend mass. It is an experience and a beautiful chuch both onthe interior and exterior. There are wonderful sculpture and artwork to see. The design is beautiful. The choir on Sunday is of a high quality and should be on TV. There is a bonze sculpture of St. Joseph and Jesus that is a Must See. The Museum store is also worthy of a visit. The priest makes out of towners welcome.

“Catholics must visit”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Very welcoming and absolutely gorgeous. Don't take Vineland Ave. from the Disney resort area (horrible back up on Saturday evening). Instead, take 4 East, get off at the exit for Vineland (Outlet Mall), and go straight across Vineland to the Little Lake Bryan area.

“A place of peace and wonder”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

Your trip to Orlando should definitely include a stop at the shrine. It is just beautiful and the stained glass just puts it over the top. The priests are most welcoming and it's always a full house! Nice to see people take time to worship while on vacation.

“Excellent in every way!”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

We have visited this beautiful church on several occasions. On four occasions I brought groups of young people from Louisiana to Mass here. On every visit we have thoroughly enjoyed the mass and the visit to the gift shop. We actually started coming here many years ago when the church was located in what is now the gift shop and the road was dirt and it ended at the parking lot.

This church was started as a church for visitors to Orlando. It is a ministry that has grown to become one of the newest shrines in the Catholic Church. For those who say there is nothing there, they have obviously not visited the museum, or learned about the magnificent stained glass windows. The side altars are beautiful, especially the alter to Our Lady of Guadeloupe. There is also beautiful copy of Michelangelo’s Pieta.

If you are a Catholic this is a don’t miss spot to sit and contemplate the big picture of life. The main thing here is to keep the “Main Thing, the Main Thing!”
