10 years ago the whole of International Drive was alive with big hotels, lots of attractions, good shops and good restaurants. Today it's half a wasteland, half derelict, half flattened and an uneasy feeling prevails when you park your car.I think even comparing the current I-Drive to Blackpool is offensive to Blackpool, driving along I drive is a nightmare with lights every 100 yards and way to much traffic, only good think there is the outlet mall but the car park is to small, the best way to get along I drive is to use the trolley, it is a bit better down the sea world end thou

This is one of THE central places to visit in Orlando outside of Disney & Universal, starting at the top there is a big Mall (Festival Bay) which has shops for all budgets and ages. On both sides all the way down I Drive there are tourist shops, eating places (whether it be snacks or meals). There is also a number of hotels which are centrally located for all amenities. Wet and Wild is on I Drive & then all you have to do is travel 10 mins west and you are in universal or 10 mins south and you are in Disney! The transport links for anyone not using a car are great and this area is open 24/7!

Plenty of shopping, hotels, and family attractions abound here. We used it for eating on our way home from the parks. Not sure I would actually spend time here for anything else, since there is so much to do in Orlando, but it does give you a break from the Mouse.

A great place to get a bargain and browse in a lovely setting. Nice little boutiques and places to eat.

Definitely a 'tourist corridor' with plenty to see and do here for everyone. Don't think this is representative of Orlando though! Most visitors stay on the 'drive' and never visit the 'real' Orlando! Just enjoy, from restaurants to attractions to great hotels.
