We last visited the park three or four years ago. Since then FantasyLand was expanded and they have added an interactive Sorcerers card game. My son loved the game. You pick up free cards and a key card near City Hall or in FrontierLand. You then use the key to unlock various stations in the park and videos appear to send you on a quest to catch villains. We weren't able to see the new Beauty and the Beast castle in FantasyLand since reservations were booked since August. Did visit Gaston's - great cinnamon rolls and drinks. It was also very cute inside. Also saw the Electric Light Parade. It was beautiful.

We took our twin 4 year olds to see the magic kingdom only to discover there is NO Magic seriously we we so excited to visit and my children couldn't sleep for nights before as they waited to see Cinderella and Co. however all we found was crowds of people walking round and round, there was no characters out mingling and interacting with children and the average queue to any ride was 90 minutes. There is plenty of photographers and stalls selling every disney tee shirt and other tourist rubbish and to be honest my children never left the buggy we rented for $30 all afternoon as the place is not safe for young kids to move in. Very disappointed and feel completely ripped off and will never return to a Disney Park. Reading the reviews we are not alone in our assessment. Orlando is a wonderful place and there are far better ways to spend an afternoon than being trapped in a Disney Disaster Area - the management are greedy in the extreme for allowing so many people into the park

What can I say about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party besides, "WOW?!?" I've written a lot of reviews, been to countless destinations world wide, but this really was just SO fantastic.

As a family of four, we've been to Disneyworld several times over the last 10 years, but never visited during the holidays. Now all we can talk about is how to go back next year and do it again.

We were fortunate enough to be at the Magic Kingdom on opening day (12/6) of the new Fantasyland (Very cool but still in its infancy - will certainly be better as more attractions are added) and stayed for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

All I can say is that it really WAS magical. Cinderella's Castle was gasp-worthy all lit up from top to bottom with frosty, shimmery lights that changed colors throughout the evening. Everything in the Magic Kingdom was decorated with holiday greens and lights and it snowed periodically on Main Street - which made it all feel dreamy and ethereal.

Holiday dance parties took place throughout the park at different venues including one with Woody and Jessie from Toy Story & our 18-year-old joined them for a hilarious rendition of Gangnam Style.

Various pit stops offered cookies and hot cocoa to add to the overall charm.

But it was the evening parade and fireworks display that really took the entire experience to the next level. The parade itself was a fantastic show with multiple floats, marching soldiers and favorite characters. What made it even better was that the floats themselves were scented, so as they passed by you could actually smell gingerbread and other favorite holiday fragrances!

And then the fireworks were undeniably the best we have EVER seen. At the end of the display, they were shot off not only in front of the castle, but all the way around you, making it virtually panoramic. It was honestly incredible. All four of us could not get over it.

Really. Seriously. This was just great. A don't-miss that you will want to do again.

We had planned a family trip to Magic Kingdom and my family liked the place very much. The lightshow at night was awesome and worth the wait for the day.The parade was also very good.Overall a nice place.

The Magic Kingdom brings back memories of my childhood, when I used to watch the Wonderful World of Disney on TV. I'm still entertained by Pirates of the Caribbean, and on my most recent visit I discovered the wonders of Tom Sawyer Island. The coasters are great, and Haunted Mansion has become a favorite.

Better to go when large crowds are not expected. Disney does a good job of managing lines, both with fast pass and keeping you entertained, but a line is a line. Less crowded times are better.
