I had only been to WDW in January so never dealt with the heat at the park. In true WDW style, they know how to make the lines not so daunting. For the most part, there were things to keep your attention, once under a roof, there was a/c running which helped keep us cool. We also went back to our condo for lunch/nap time so we never got too hot.

“The Place to Visit”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

There is so much to do at Walt Disney World that is tough to know where to start. In order of preference my family liked The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and then Animal Kingdom. There is so much to do, that even during the slow season, that you can spend an entire day in each park. Then there are water parks, and Wide World of Sports and all of that shopping, to name a few of the extra. If you have the time, at least a week is needed to enjoy the place now and probably two-weeks during those busy peak times. The only negative that one may give is that it is not a cheap place to visit, but it is so much fun that it is worth the price.

Loved it all. Service was fantastic by all staff and the parks were all lovely and clean. It was very hot when we were there but the parks offered lots of cool areas

“Magical except for grouchy employees...”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

All of the things that you hear about Disney World are true. It is a magical place unlike any other. Animal Kingdom is absolutely mind-blowing. Epcot is amazing. The other parks are great as well.

Some of the things you don't hear about Disney... 1) The employees that monitor lines can have bad attitudes. It's hard to get good help anyway, but for the money you drop just for the tickets alone, there should be a please and thank you with every request. Some of the staff were absolutely rude. 2) The food is priced like you would expect at any exclusive destination, but the quality at the lower-priced places was not as good as it should be. We paid $6 for a Smuckers PB&J sandwich that my son eats at school for less than a dollar. That really rubbed me wrong... 3) Navigating from attraction to attraction can be a nightmare when you get stuck behind the group of moms that feel like it's okay to walk side-by-side-by-side. I'm amazed there aren't fistfights in the streets. 4) You pay for your ticket, and you pay $14/day to park as well. Kind of a bummer. 5) The fast pass is great once you learn how to use it. Take the time to figure it out.
