I was very disappointed with the room. I chose this hotel over the Hilton next door thinking that I was going to have a luxury room and found that the room was average. The room in this hotel was just like any room in a four or three stars hotel so do yourself a favor if you want to save money and stay next door. You still can use the facility of this hotel if you stay at the Hilton next door. I love the swimming pool; very quite area to relax. And don't miss the spa facilities to relax after walking so many hours at Disney. It has a great Jacuzzi and steam room. I also like the proximity to the Disney Park. I have to give credit at the guy at the checkout counter who handled a problem with the bill with so much patience and politeness the whole 45 minutes we were there trying to resolve it. If I ever go back to Orlando I won’t stay here I’ll choose the hotel next door. This is not a 5 stars hotel don’t let them fool you, stay somewhere else if you are looking for luxury rooms.

Room Tip: stay at the hotel next door it is cheaper and the rooms are alike!

Dear Liliana,

Thank you for taking the time to complete a Tripadvisor review of the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. As it is always hard to hear our hotel and accommodations did not meet your expectations our hotel professionals thank you for providing your honest feedback. The customer service was phenomenal. Moreover, the accommodations at this luxurious hotel were exceptional. I'd live in this hotel if it were feasible. Very relaxing for an executive. Also, the free transit to Disney was an added benefit.

Nothing to Critique--The Very Best of Everything! We stay at this hotel once a quarter and it is always a welcome respite to visit. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The food it five star. The management will cater to your every whim. Over the years we have staid in just about every five star hotel in Orlando. No hotel comes close to the Waldorf!

If you are planning a trip to Disney, definitely consider this hotel. The hotel itself is MUCH nicer than comparably priced Disney resorts. The shuttle service make it a breeze to get to and from the parks. There are no screaming children here (though there were kids), so if you are looking for a more adult experience with great restaurants, this is your hotel

I stayed here with my husband and toddler son in August for a weekend. We had a great deal through hotels.com and got the large suite (1000sq ft) for about $300 per night including the breakfast buffet for all of us. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There are a few extras, including cocktail hour, included in the price. The hotel is wonderfully located, on Disney property, but not affiliated with Disney.

Our room was spacious, although the kitchenette area is strangely too large. It's a lot of wasted space. It seems that it would be better if they put a dining table in that same area, since the only option for my son to sit to eat was on the floor at the coffee table. Minor detail.

Room service was fast and tasty.

We loved everything about this place. I am currently staying at a comparably priced Disney resort and it has nothing on the WA. We already have our next visit booked there in a couple of months and I can't wait!

A couple of cons: Valet is pricey. Poolside service is not good.

We just returned from a two day stay and we're overall happy with the experience. Nothing like lots of marble, sculptured carpet and a giant bath to remind you that luxury is in the small details. The staff was genuinely welcoming, and we especially liked the signature Manhattens in the lounge.

The Fittness area is better equipped than most of the full size facilities here at home, and the whole hotel is amazingly clean and fresh.
We were on the top floor, and it may have been something to do with the acoustics on that floor, but when the room next to ours had room service delivered, I could hear every small sound. When a door was opened, it was noticeable. I assure you that my hearing is not acute. It was pretty loud.

Lots more good than not, but when we return, we will try another floor.
