I would say this is one of the largest hotels in Orlando - it's huge! It reminded me of the larger hotels in Las Vegas. Checking in was pretty painless although there was always a queue at the desk and a wait. The imposing reception area was smart but clinical. The rooms were excellent and provided everything needed. They were also nice and quiet. Car parking was expensive at $20 per day - this must be one of the very few hotels that charge for parking in Orlando. The hotel was at the end of the International Drive area so a bit out on a limb although there was a bus service close by.

The layout of the pools was great. Although the designated "quiet pool" turned out to be very noisy with a group of people drinking and shouting and spoling the peace and tranquility. Hilton staff continued to serve this group with alcohol even though they were extremely rowdy and were also drinking their own alcohol. They should have been asked to move to the general pool area but they weren't! There were also unacompanied teenage kids using rubber rings in this pool too.

The business centre offers free airline check-in facilities which worked very well.

All in all it's a good hotel but it lacks the warmth and friendliness of other hotels.

Went here for my 29th Birthday celebration! My mom, my 4 year old daughter and I stayed from June 21, 2011-June 24, 2011. The entire hotel is gorgeous, spotless, and overall amazing! Our room was extremely clean and we had a view of Sea World and Aquatica. We could see the fireworkd at Sea World from our room. The pool area is unbelieveable! Pool is huge, there is a waterslide, and a lazy river! There is a basketball and volleyball court. The bar/grill at the pool deck is so good and you can get served at your lounge chair! On my actual Birthday the server brought me out a piece of chocolate cake (complementary) while I was relaxing in my lounge chair. It was so delicious! One of the BEST hotels I've ever been to. I would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: Higher floor and view of Sea World to see fireworks at night from your room!

We have stayed here twice. This is a perfect hotel forth business traveler who wants to be right by the convention center but bring his or her family to Orlando. If you can book the rooms for 120 or under it is a great value.

Valet and amenities are not cheap; this IS a Florida resort after all. But the pool are is very very nice. There is even an outdoor fire put for marshmallow roasting on cool nights during the winter! The steakhouse on site - Spencer's - is fantastic. The hashbrown side dish and the truffles cream corn side pair beautifully with a medium rare prime rib. (Brussel sprouts were the best but they took them off the menu. Boo!) This hotel is a solid bet.

Even though we live in the area, from time to time we will play 'tourist' and try out some of the local hotels.

This by far was one of the best local weekend place we have stayed at. They have a fantastic pool and outdoor activity area, which includes a lazy river, water slide, tennis, basketball and more. Our kids really enjoyed themselves and there was plenty to do.

The room was of good size and accomodated a family of four really well. We had a view of the pool and recreation areas, so keeping track of the teens was not a problem.

I would recommend this hotel anytime, we really enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed at the Hilton Orlando for three nights for a tax conference and family getaway. It was a convenient conference hotel with nice amenities. The hotel food was the typically overpriced selection, but it was convenient to other options. The pool was very nice and a lot of fun. If you are looking for a quieter hotel option in Orlando outside of Disney, this is a good choice. The staff was helpful and pleasant when needed.

Our recent stay at the Orlando Hilton was cut short by a death in our family requiring us to return home immediately. Our family wanted to thank Brittany Cascanet, Front Desk Manager for her professionalism and kindness.

My husband and I have not been to Orlando for several years and decided it was time to visit. We really needed a vacation away from the every day routine and the Hilton Orlando really satisified our needs. It is exceptionally clean and the pools are outstanding. I would have given it 5 stars if they did not charge $13 for parking (valet is more), $20 per person for a buffet breakfast which is overpriced, and the worst of all is that they charge $15 per person in the room for internet service. I only needed to use the internet for 1 day to inform my job that my flight was delayed and the hotel would not even give me 1 hour of free usuage to do so. You would think after staying 6 nights that they would have let us do so as a courtesy but no such luck! Many of the area restaurants/hotels offer free WIFI and much a cheaper breakfast value also . Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely consider going back.

Room Tip: Would recommend for couples more than families.
