While attending a conference, my wife and I made reservations at Norman's. Often, hotel restaurants are disappointing, and rely on the hotel guests to keep the doors open. Not so, at Norman's!

The food was imaginative, prepared with obvious care and precision, and beautifully presented. The staff was very knowledgable about the menu and wine list. The restaurant presents a beautiful setting.

If you are looking for a wonderful meal, or are hoping to impress a client or special someone, Norman's should be on your list.

Last night we celebrated a special occasion at Norman's while staying the night at the adjacent and connected JW Marriott Hotel. We were greeted with a wonderful surprise: a personalized menu announcing the engagement of our son, just prepared for us! The service continued to be excellent throughout. We chose to all order a la carte rather than from the three-course tasting menu and enjoyed the stuffed chicken, filet, and salmon as one might expect from the price. Not memorable but very good. With a bottle of wine, cappuccino's and a couple of desserts, our bill came to $300 total so expect it! I would only return for another very special occasion or a business meeting where the tab would be covered or the bill written off. Next regular meal at Primo's in the Marriott itself!

Not often do you find a true gourmet restaurant. Everything was beautifully presented, wait staff was professional and not over bearing. British Columbia oysters were every bit as good as our Appalachicola Bay oysters (that is a true compliment). Hubby had conch soup which he really liked, well enough to lick the bowl if I had not stopped him. His pork dish was a " true experience" with several different sauces to try alone or mix together. We will definitely return!!

While visiting Orlando for our anniversary, we decided on having an evening at Norman's. We were very pleased with the elegant atmosphere and surrounding beauty of the location at the Ritz Carlton
The staff was very attentive and did such a good job explaining how the dishes were prepared, we were torn about what to order. After having a glass of champaign to toast the evening, I started with the conch chowder and my wife had the shrimp appetizer. Both were delicious and had us eagerly anticipating the main courses of grouper and Cuban potatoes. The grouper was outstanding and potatoes were made to perfection. We ended the meal sharing the dark chocolate cake which was also surpassed expectations.
The staff was very attentive and personable. They all acknowledged our anniversary and chatted for a while. We definitely recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable evening out. You will not be disappointed.
