I was craving latin food, so I picked this placed over Capitol Grille (big mistake). The service was extremely slow and their mojito was the worst mojito I have ever had. I agree with a prior reviewer, it was like sugary lime water.

This place got good reviews so we thought we were in for an excellent experience. Not nice food. The fish salad tasted like it was in the refrigerator for several days. The black bean hummus tasted bland to us, the dips were too sweet or bland. The Mojito was like sugary lime water and the fried bread had a nasty after taste and made my stomach bloat after the first mouthful. Thankfully we didn't order a main course. Ended up next door in The Pub which removed the bad taste from our palate. Would not recommend.

Had a great dinner with business associates; seated by the doorway to kitchen was the only drawback to our meal. Bill O was a wonderful server, giving us a push to get our order in to the kitchen before the several large parties in the restaurant placed theirs...but stating once you've ordered, take your time. His recommendations for our meals were appreciated. Appetizers of Mariquitas Cubanos & Guacamole Cubano were tastey as was the Mango Mojito enjoyed by one diner. The Ropa Vieja received a thumbs up. The Paella de Mariscos was wonderful - but be prepared that "baby octopus" are just what you'll find in the pan. If a quiet business dinner is what is desired, this may be a bit noisey, but if a nice dinner in a non-stuffy atmosphere is being considered - this is the place .... and ask for Bill.

We went with a bunch of folks and had the 15 tastes of Cuba, what a treat! The empenadas were out of this world. WHen you bite into them, you can see the grandma in the kitchen making them. Make sure you eat there when in Orlando. Dancing is an option....

The restaurant itself is beautiful, designed to look like a Cuban village inside and with beautiful murals on the walls outside. It is a chain, but the food is still delicious and our server was very helpful and friendly. Lechon and Ropa Vieja were outstanding. There is an extensive drinks menu (it is a rum bar after all), with over 50 rums and many other drinks from Latin America. I had two of the Piscos (guava sour) and they were very good--worth a second one even though I'm not usually a fan of fruity mixed drinks. The bread and plaintain chips that come with the meal are also outstanding. I'm sure there are small family owned restaurants where you can get authentic Latin food in Orlando, but this is a great choice for the I Drive area and especially if you have persons in your party who are not familiar with Cuban food and just want to try it out. I would also recommend it as a good place to have some nice drinks in a nice atmosphere.
