“Excellent food and great service however...”
Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

We have eaten in the BB kings blues club in Memphis and this place is a little slice of that in Orlando. Great southern food, great selection of beer and all at a reasonable price.

However did not get the souvenir glass that the cocktail came in as they had ran out but we were still charged for the full price which apparently is the only option. Rather cheeky and very bad customer service skills. Put a damper on the whole meal. It was only a couple of bucks but its the point not the principle.

Well done to our server as he catered for our every need as well as a table of 30

“Expensive, but a cool atmosphere.”
Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

Probably a stop you should make on Beale street. Drinks are expensive, but that's expected. The music is what makes it enjoyable. Crowds of people lovin' the blues.

“Upscale Soul Food with a down home New Orleans atmosphere”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

B. B, King's Restaurant and Blues Club is an upscale Soul Food Restaurant that offers large portions of delicious and well prepared food at fair prices. The restaurant offers live entertainment every night of the week from 7:00 PM until close. The atmosphere reminds you of the French Quarter and the music that is playing is first class jazz. I would recommend B.B. King's to anyone who is looking for good food and first class entertainment at affordable prices. Pointe Orlando has much to offer individuals, couples and families.

“GREAT Time”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

WOW!!! Stumbled upon this restaurant club after leaving another place that was overcrowded with bad music. We walked in to hear the Allstar band grooving to Earth Wind and Fire's "September". I have never heard that covered so they instantly had my attention. This is a group of highly accomplished musicians equally at home with Steevie Ray and Michael Jackson. Having arrived late, we made plans to come back the next night. Our server "Steven" took great care of us and helped us plan our next night.

We arrived earlier the next evening and were delighted by the menu. We shared an adventurous plate of nachos, then settled to dinner. The Cajun Chicken Carbonara was the single best meal I have ever had in Orlando. My wife and daughter were delighted with their Ribeye and it's barbecue rub. My son's chicken tenders were phenominal; they had a very tasty light crunchy exterior. The macaroni and cheese was awesome.

The Allstar band continued to impress with it's eclectic selections. Always at home with BB favorites, I also heard "American Boy" and Boz Skaggs covered. Two awesome guitarists, a male and female singers, a horn section and funky rhythm section... What FUN!

Best of all was the crowd. Such diverse musical offerings, great food and an affordable bar brought in a diverse crowd. Young and old, every ethnicity... just a bunch of people enjoying a really good time and GREAT music. The dance floor was always packed, often by people who probably had no intention of dancing when they walked in the joint but could not help themselves. The blues-joint feel and smell of smoked ribs completed the emmersive experience.

What FUN!

“Fun evening out”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We went early and, knowing there was live music, asked for a "quieter spot." they put us off to the far side, which really was a good location. We could still see the band when they came on and enjoy the music, but we were able to still carry on a conversation while they played. If we had been front and center, that would have been impossible.
The food was tasty. We started with catfish bites which were delicious. Being a southern girl, I initially pooh-pooh the sauce that came with them, but decided to give it a try and was floored, it was wonderful!
I had the ribs and totally enjoyed them, being true southern style (none of this Tex-Mex for me!). I see other reviewers saying they were dry, but that was not my experience. They were juicy and fall of the none tender. My husband enjoyed his burger being cooked to his specification. We had no room left for dessert!
When you live in a tourist town, you often try to avoid the "tourist places," but this was a real treat that we will do again!
