This is a very nicely kept hotel. I am a Hikton honors gold member, and the one down side of the place is that I had to call Hilton Honors to get my full benefits, so beware of that and call Hilton if you have to. Otherwise, the property was newly remodeled, excellent rooms (get one with a pool view), nicely appointed, plenty of places to plug in your electronics. One down side....no grab bars in the shower and the floors are slippery. They need to add this for safety sake...its important. Housekeeping was excellent. The Harvest dining and breakfast were outstanding and the wait staff was pleasant and helpful. The poolside restaurant is superb. The fish sandwich and Cuban sandwich were excellent and the tropical drinks were great...also a great selection on non-alcoholic tropical drinks. In contrast, the Italian La Luce restaurant was horrible. The selection wad poor and the food so-so for the price. I asked for an iced tea with my meal....abd the waiter Bri vs out some bottles of iced tea at $7 each. Now I have no problem dropping 150$ for a great dinner....but 7 bucks a bottle for an iced tea is ridiculous...and the food mediocre at best. But the lazy river pool was awesome. Although there is a daily resort fee, you do get your money's worth on that for all the poolside comforts. One thing though....they did have a kids water slide pool which was closed....but there was some pretty ugly stuff growing in the stagnant water and that really should be cleaned. All in all though, an excellent hotel with a great bell hop and valet service!
