We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. We had 5 people and rented 2 rooms. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Parking was easy (paid) and transportation to Disney was always convenient. Highly recommended!
Superb accommodations, restaurants, service and ana ing pool/lazy river. Kids were plenty occupied. Had amazing dinner and service at La Luce. Beautiful, modern and clean. Has a convenient 24 hour coffee shop, arcade and Disney gift shop. Elevators are very fast.
It is just great, very nice and comfortable rooms, quite clean, personnel was great as well.
Breakfast is buffet, but try to get it included in the rate otherwise it would be really expensive, lobby area is great with a nice bar and restaurants, pool is fantastic for the kids as it has a river.
Be aware the parking or valet could be expensive as well breakfast if not included, so try to make a package to avoid any budget issues, but otherwise I really recommend this hotel.
Close to the Disney parks and 20 mins from universal.
Nice place.............but..........
A lot of hidden costs, and overpriced services/food/beverages. Now lets start out by saying that the place is immaculate, and very well kept. Front desk is extremely helpful, and check in and out is a ease. Now let's get to the issues: Park yourself 16.00 a day. 6.00 for lazy river tube, and the most unbelievable thing ever seen at a resort: TWENTY DOLLARS FOR 6 SMORES!!!!!
Your led to believe that smores are at the poolside fire pits each night. Oh, they are............for a price. Now if you happen to want to enjoy a adult beverage: 13.00 bucks plus tip per mix fruity drink. 7.00 a beer. Also, if you happen to want a mix drink, they don't have any "well drinks" , it's all top shelf, and they will cost you dearly.
Let's move on to the food..............They give you a "kids eat free(under 12)" voucher for the restaurant on site. No worries, with "free" kids, correct? Wrong again...........breakfast for 2 adults was 50.00. Dinner was 70.00. Unreal for maybe some decent B/B+ food.
So there is the rant on the bad..............now the good................The staff was always around making sure if you needed anything. Juan in the bar area was a awesome waiter and very good at the social aspect of making new people comfortable. The bar manager was on her phone and her Dolce Gabana sunglasses on most of the night, so I wouldn't give her a good grade. But overall the staff everywhere we went on the grounds were polite and very nice. The cleaning staff was also attentive to our needs and we did tip well for it.
I think if you are willing to be hit with the fees and the cost of doing "business"(vacation) with this hotel, there is not too many better in the Disney area(we live in FL and make the journey a few times a year). The place is packed with kids. But for families, this is a great place. From the movies in the pool, to the fireworks show, to the duck races in the afternoon. If you need a day to take a break from the Disney/sea world craziness, look no further than to leave your room and relax by the pool and let the kids be kids.
2nd time staying here, could not imagine staying anywhere else. We stayed on the top floor not facing the pool. The view was still awesome.
Pros:
