“Lazy days in lazy river”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Found this hotel in 09 by accident and three trips later still love! I never thought I'd be a person who did repeat holidays same place but for Orlando , this works. Kid friendly without being ruled by them and a relaxed but upscale feel. Hire car on site was super friendly and easy. No lines! Shuttles luxurious and free which is a big saving. Taxis in Orlando 3 times price of cental London .45 dollars for ten min rides means shuttles are a necessity. Big clean rooms v recent hotel so will be a long time before it dates. Loved it . Hope to return. Have stayed in ritz next door and while even more upscale, honestly I didn't think I could see the 200 dollar a night room price difference. And I say that as a self confessed hotel brat who loves ritz. My only issue with Hilton is their chain is so so variable. The same name labelled onto lower standard hotels than bonnet Creek does them a disservice" IMHO".

Room Tip: New hotel all rooms same I'd say or near as darn it.

We stayed here for 2 weeks (last week of Feb, first week of March). From check-in to check-out I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. Upon arrival at 1PM, our room was not ready but Chase at the front desk offered us another room which had a wonderful view of the pool and golf course. Chase made our stay extra special by offering exceptionnal service! Our room was big enough with mini-fridge. Room was clean, bed extra comfortable and quiet. We did not hear one thing from the other rooms or hallway the whole time we were there despite the hotel being sold out. Also our room was always promptly cleaned before noon which was especially nice. We had breakfast downstairs every day and truly enjoyed the selection of food, especially the gluten free toast and pancakes. Jeffrey gave excellent and attentive service. We enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas for shade if desired. Had lunch at the pool and the food was really good as well as the service. We ate at La Luce twice as it was so good and the service exceptionnal! Gluten free pasta and chocolate cake was excellent! We also enjoyed the gym; good selection of machines. The grounds are also nice with walking trail between the Hilton and Waldorf but also a nice sidewalk up to the main road. We did self park with plenty of parking always available. My husband really enjoyed the coffee shop with refills for one dollar, and I must say the delicious pastries. Having travelled many times to Orlando and the Disney parks area, this hotel is a gem. We have no complaints. Our stay was perfect from the minute we walked in to check out! We will definitely be back!

The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is a wonderful property seemingly away from all of the craziness that is Orlando, however, it is in fact in the very heart of it, on Disney property. It is a wonderful resort, with a great staff. Our party was a party with two rooms, and we had just arrived having returned from a cruise out of Miami that arrived in port early. We arrived at the property at around noon, and only one room was ready. We self parked, and brought our luggage in to the lobby to check in. Our room wasn't ready, but we were given two keys so that the front desk could simply call us when the room was ready. We waited a long time, but sent the kids to the pool, where they passed the time. Having arrived well before the 4pm check in time, we simply sat in the lobby and waited. We checked about two hours later and it was still not ready. Lolita at the front desk was wonderful. Shortly after she stopped by to check on us, and walked us, insisting on helping with our bags as we went poolside and awaited a call from the front desk. Lolita was great and really made our stay fantastic. Once we were settled in our room, she called to check on us to make sure everything was up to our standards.

The room was standard 4 star Hilton, great bed, beautiful linens, extremely clean, and wonderful lavazza coffee, and amenities. Another great thing about hilton properties is that there are plenty of electrical outlets in very user friendly spots. Electric outlets on the lamps are much appreciated in all areas of the room. The lobby is great with shops, cafe, etc.

Lazy River Pool great for the kids, and adults. Typically there are also activities for kids and families poolside in the evenings.

The only fuzzy part of our stay was the internet connection. It must have dropped every 3 minutes, so we just didn't use it to stream movies, but it was fine for checking email, etc.

Room for improvement on the bathroom shower pressure and lighting. The bathroom was impeccably clean. The only complaint is that the shower head, although a rain shower showerhead, it didn't really have large enough water holes, so not much water came out at once. It was difficult to get enough water at once to shampoo our hair. Lighting was dim in bathroom, even with lights on the side of the mirror, there was not much light at all. The bathroom fan worked great.

The restaurant on the pool level is wonderful, and service is fine. Breakfast can be rather crowded after 9am.

Thank you Lolita for making our experience. We will certainly return and choose Bonnet Creek Hilton over the Intl Drive Hilton every time.

Room Tip: breakfast is very busy after 9 a.m. try to get there early.

Not much more I can add to what other reviewers have already shared. This hotel is truly superb. The level of service we experienced at every point during our stay was exquisite. The facilities, rooms and overall property are immaculate. And the location is perfect for visiting Downtown Disney and the Theme Parks.

On this trip I traveled with my wife and two of our daughters (ages 14 & 16). Our stay at the Hilton Bonnet Creek was for the last 4 nights of our 8 day vacation to Disney. For the the first 3 nights of our vacation we stayed at the Double Tree Suites - Lake Buena Vista just a short distance away. Our reason for splitting our vacation between these two hotels was based on a decision to use the first 3 days of our trip to visit the Disney parks and then use the last 5 days to just relax and unwind. For the latter, we chose the Hilton Bonnet Creek for its much larger swimming pool and attached Lazy River (for mom and our daughters) and for its PGA golf course (for dad). :-) Being that we are big Hilton fans choosing both these two hotels for the two different stages of our vacation was a no-brainer. And moving from the one to the other was made much simpler than imaginable due to the excellent services provided by the Bellmen at both of these hotels.

Upon our arrival at the Hilton Bonnet Creek we were graciously received at the Front Desk and quickly looked after. Ans as Hilton Honors members our parking was comped. We were also given a spacious room on the 15th floor with a panoramic view overlooking the pool, lazy river, the Waldorf's PGA golf course, and Epcot. The view was truly gorgeous and in the evening we could actually watch the spectacular Epcot Fireworks display from the large window of our room!

Most of our days at the hotel were spent simply lounging by the pool, floating in the Lazy River and hanging out on those big comfortable couches at the Beech Bar. In the evenings we would either visit Downtown Disney, go shopping or just relax at the hotel. We also enjoyed a beautiful meal at La Luce where I ordered the Sliced Porcini Rubbed Ribeye Steak (med. rare) and it was cooked to perfection.

There is much more I can share regarding our wonderful stay but as you can see from the other reviews this is one the very best hotels you can choose if you are visiting Disney or Orlando. We miss it already and plan to return again. Good job Hilton!

Went here for a work conference. The hotel is beautiful and staff is great. The shock came when we found out that in order to use the lazy river you have to purchase the tubes for $10. This is extremely petty and cheap, not what I would expect from this class of hotel

Upon arrival reasonably fast check-in, self parked the car, valet service available.
Standard 2 queens bedroom with adequate, but not special, bathroom. Cleanliness perfect.

Did not like the breakfast very much, very limited choice at a considerable price. Forget the restaurants for dinner go out to Orlando (see my reviews).

The Beech bar at the pool is great, but one day I waited more than 35 minutes for a sandwich (and it was not during the lunchtime rush hour).

The pool area is really great.

The internet (22 dollar a day instead of being complementary) was bad. At my room I got disconnected every 30 seconds to 2 minutes, very, very, very annoying.
A face time conversation with my family in the privacy of my room was impossible.
At 22 dollars a day one might at least expect a stable connection. My complaint at the front desk was accepted, not solved and answered with: wathelse can I do for you, as if they helped me with the problem, not.

Al in all it was very much an average large US hotel experience, nothing really bad, nothing really excellent.

I was there for a meeting and would never have choosen this hotel (or even Orlando) for a destination.

During the writing of this review (in the hotel) I got disconnected from the internet only 3 times, which is below average.

Room Tip: High floor room for the view

While we strive to offer the best guest experience possible, for all guests, based on your review, we clearly have room for improvement. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and I'm sorry to hear the dining accommodations and WiFi connectivity were a real disappointment. We've shared your comments with our food and beverage team as well as contacted our internet service provider. We hope we can change your mind about Orlando and our hotel. We would really like the opportunity to serve you and again and hope you consider us again for your next business trip.

We were there for a Disney World vacation. I had booked two rooms that were adjoining as my son, daughter-in-law & three grandchildren were coming with us. The children's ages 6,3 & 4months. The hotel was lovely. It has a beautiful pool with the lazy river. It was quite chilly several days so we never used the lazy river although I bought tubes for the boys.($6.00 ea.)The boys used the kiddie pool one day. The other days we were @ the parks all day & by the time we got back to the hotel it was the children's bedtime. The hotel was very clean & the two queen beds were very comfortable. We always stay in Disney but the the deluxe hotels were booked & we didn't want to stay @ a moderate or value due to the transportation buses to the parks especially with the baby. I specifically called Bonnet Creek to inquire about the transportation to the parks & was told they had a charter bus for Hilton & Waldorf only. I told them why I was concerned. They failed to mention you are dropped off @ Disney Transportation Center where you then have to wait in long lines to get transportation into the parks. Exactly what we trying to avoid. We then proceeded to take private taxi back to the hotel @ a cost of $20 + tip. We had our car, we are Fl. residents & drive to Disney World (about 2 1/2 hrs.,)but when you arrive @ the parks a bit later you have to park far from the entrance & take the tram, plus it's $14. to park, but just too much work folding the big stroller, getting the 3 kids etc.. Next time I will make the reservation sooner, first time on spring break for my grandchild, & stay @ Deluxe in the park. We used private taxis all week both ways which was quite an expense. Hilton Bonnet Creek is more than the moderate hotels @ Disney & more than double the Value hotels. I wanted to mention that if price is an issue for you. Kids ate free for breakfast & dinner but the adult prices were quite high in the restaurants. Breakfast buffet was $22. For adults & 18% gratuities were always added to our bill as the counted the children. It was your run of the mill buffet that is usually complimentary @ some hotels. The coffee shop Muse was very good. Good coffee. Nice gift shop, Disney. Same pricing as the parks.

Room Tip: High floors, room facing pool, although a walk rooms away from the elevator are quiet.
