First, I would like to thank tripadvisor for informing me about this hotel. My girlfriend and I planned a trip to Orlando on the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. I purchased the special Florida resident pass that allows access to all the Disney Parks for $99/person. We booked a suite and our requests for a high floor and firework view were accepted. I was very pleased that the room rate plus taxes was the only cost and the resort did not charge extra for parking or internet access. The balcony was enormous with a lounge chair, table and chairs. The bathroom was also very nice with a modern standing shower and a separate tub with his and her sinks. We had a eat in kitchen with state of the art appliances including all untensils for eating/cooking and cleaining supplies. I cannot rate the dining in the resort because we either cooked in the room or dined off the resort grounds. There is easy access to walmart and convenience stores for purchasing foods and many restaurants are nearby including downtown disney. The suite also had hardwood floor living area with couch and flat screen tv and the bedroom had a comfortable king sized bed with a flat screen tv. I also appreciated the ihome apparatus that allows you to listen to your ipod in our suite bedroom. The room was extremely clean and so was the entire resort. The location to the theme parks was approximately 10 minute drive with a car and the signs are very accomodating. It is almost impossible to get lost. Due to the inclement weather, we were not able to use the pool but it was very nice with a waterslide and the resort also had a fitness center/spa. I would definetly stay in this hotel, again!

I am an owner here and this was the first time I have stayed. It has to go some to beat the Grand Vaction Club on International Drive and it does in many ways. The rooms are fantastic with lots of space and home comforts. The pool area with waterslide is fantastic.

Its only down side is that it is not complete. There are 5 Towers to be built and to date only one is open with another opening in Feb 2010. Our rep told us it could be ten years before it is complete. They is only one pool bar and although the food is good you have to travel out somewhere to find another restaurant, which means someone will have to drive unless you book a taxi.

This hotel just opened in May, 2009. There are two towers and a pool completed with five more towers planned for the future. Thus, it was very quiet and calm here. Not a lot of traffic or activity which was fine with us.

The front lobby is huge and beautiful. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was well appointed with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, large bathroom with separate tub and shower, flat screen TVs and a very large patio overlooking the pool.

The resort is gated and you must go through the security guard house checkpoint to enter (no card keys at this time). The covered parking garage was very convenient and allowed easy access to our room with all of our groceries and luggage.

The rate of $129 was extremely reasonable for a hotel of this caliber. Very, very close to Disney and other attractions. A 24 hour Wal-Mart was down the street along with other supermarkets and shops.

One small negative: although we didn't experience any noise from nearby rooms, we could hear every step in the room directly above us. If there are families with little ones who like to run in the room, you will definitely hear them (day AND night).

We will certainly look into this hotel again when visiting Orlando. It will be interesting to see how/if the resort expands over the years.

We are a family of four (two kids ages 10 and 8). We came to Orlando for Christmas holidays from Dec 20th - January 3rd. Two weeks of Disney! We wanted somewhere to stay with a bit of a "resort" feel, but close to Disney and with kitchen amenities, and a separate bedroom. We found this hotel on the internet, and it looked great. the price was excellent - $169 per night was our rate for a one bedroom with a full kitchen and king size pull out couch in the livingroom. I surfed the net when we were here, just to compare rates for this time of year, and this was a great rate, considering the amenities.
ROOM: Very nice, new room. Very large. Very nice bathroom with double sink, separate tub and large glass enclosed shower. Kitchen had everything (although could have used a few more dishes - we were always running out as they only supply 4 of everything). This room would be perfect if it had (a) another closet - there is only one in the bedroom (b) more storage for clothing. There were next to no drawers for longer stays, so the room seemed to be contantly messy and (c) a desk to sit at for computer, etc. It was simply underfurnished and there is lots of room to add a dresser and desk. Balconies were large and very nice with lounger and table with four chairs. Our room faced the Magic Kingdom area, which was kind of neat as you could see the fireworks each night. but this got "old" after the first couple of nights and so I think if I came back, I would ask for the pool view room, which faces the beautiful pool area. Oh, we only had our beds made and kitchen cleaned if we left a tip. I think generally, they just supply clean towels, and only clean once per week. but if we left a tip, we had the whole room cleaned while out, if we forgot, no go!
POOL: Gorgeous, well-heated so that the kids could still swim even in the cooler weather. Three lovely hot tubs for the adults. The water slide was a kit with the kids, but it was a bit frustrating in that you never seemed to know when it would be operating. It requires a staff person to attend it and they seemed to come and go without any real schedule.
RESTAURANT: Food was good, service ok. It's nice that it is open air and faces the pool area, so the kids can swim and parents can enjoy a cocktail - very "resort-like".
CONCIERGE: This was the most frustratng aspect of our trip, as we had a couple of questions about the resort so we called down and were told to go to the front desk for information! My husband and I both had issues with the Concierge and thought it was funny at a new hotel, that they would not be more helpful.
NOISE: The walls really are paper thin and we seemed to have a particularly loud family beside us on a few of the days - we could literally hear their conversations! This was only for a few of the nights so is likely luck of the draw in terms of who your neighbours are and how loud they get.
LOCATION: Excellent. Close to everything. Walmart just up the road, parks within 10 minutes drive, tons of restaurants. But you would want a car.
OVERALL: We enjoyed our stay and, at this rate, we would certainly consider returning again. Of special note was the social staff who made Christmas eve and New Years eve really special for the kids, and were always working hard around the pool hosting trivia contests, etc.

Spent 11 nights at the Parc Soleil...regrettably, the weather was cool, cloudy and rainy for the most part. In any case, here is my review:

PROS

The 1 bedroom suite was well appointed and clean (but for longer stays, i'm surprised there wasn't a larger closet given it was a 920 square foot unit).
The grounds were lovely (but there is pending construction behind tower 2...which is yet to be opened).
Large pool was great for kids although water slide not suitable for younger ones due to height restriction.
Hottubs came in handly given the weather and plenty of towels and chairs
Well equipped fitness center
Nice 1/2 mile walking path and enclosed playground for kids
Close to everything...if you have a car
Requests to front desk were handled promptly

CONS

No pool service..by that i mean, no one ever came to take drink requests, i when i went to order drinks, it took them 20 minutes to deliver (and there were 4 people around the pool)
Friends who requested adjoining rooms at time of booking, and then again at check in, never got them ..even though the place seemed less than full
No bath robes or magnifying mirror...which is surprising for a Hilton

Overall, would definitely recommend the place if you are in Orlando and have a car

We've stayed at a lot of nice hotels over the years (to include Ritz Carlton properties) and this is probably one of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever been in. We got a 1 bedroom suite, which for the price was amazing. Stainless appliances in the full kitchen, comfortable living room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything was new and spotless. The staff were very friendly. (no valet, but they let us park our car in the front anyway)
The only sad thing was the fact that hardly anyone was there! It was nice because we felt like we were all alone, but I have to wonder how they will make it. Yes, it's a little out of the way, but for the price, you can't go wrong. Great accomodations for a family.
