“Thanks for a great stay!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

My family and I stayed in a two bedroom, two bath suite at Parc Soleil for three nights in November while visiting Disney World. The property is beautiful, the rooms were spacious, clean, included a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, other essential cookware, dishes, and utensils. The wood floors are beautiful. Everythig was clean in our unit and the facility is nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. My 11 y/o nephew almost jumped out of his skin when his sister turned the water on for the bath tub and the water poured from a spout in the ceiling. We got a good laugh out of that! The pool areas and the childrens plat ground area was very nice. Every staff memeber we met was professional and courteous. We had very good internet connection. The ac units worked extremely well and there were two controls for the two bedroom unit we stayed in. We would stay again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor in a corner unit. It was very quiet there. We were able to park in the...

We stayed at the property for 9 nights and part of the deal was to attend a HGVC presentation. It lasted slightly longer than the stated 90 minutes and we didn't get the feeling that it was a particularly hard sell. The rooms shown in the presentation are of an extremely high standard in terms of decor and layout - our room did not come close in comparison. The property is of a fairly recent construction, modern, bright and clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful with any requests that we made. The store on the premises sold everything that you had either forgotten to bring or had run out of whilst you were there - you paid a premium for this facility as it was much cheaper elsewhere. We didn't try the restaurant at the Parc Soleil as we considered it lacking in ambience, fairly pricey, and we preferred to eat elsewhere off site. Parking arrangements are well thought out in the multi-story blocks and very convenient for guests. We felt that another, more mature location in Orlando would have been a better fit for us - we were expecting so much more from the newest Hilton property of this type in the area.

Room Tip: We were told on the HGVC tour that other Hilton studio properties are larger and have a balcony - I...

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Although we’re delighted to hear you found our resort to be modern, bright, and clean, while our staff was very pleasant and helpful with any requests you made, we sincerely apologize for the apparent confusion regarding the smaller studio unit you stayed in, as opposed to the larger two and three bedroom units you saw during your subsequent sales presentation. Again, we truly appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll give one of our other resorts in the area a chance whenever your future travel plans bring you back to the central Florida area. Kind regards.

I was invited to stay at this hotel to go through the HGVC sales presentation/tour. It is a beautiful hotel and even though I didn't join it is something that I will keep in mind for the future. The staff is amazing. It is a brand new hotel and you can tell. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious, with great amenities. The only down side is the lack of towel racks in the beautiful very spacious bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Things to keep in mind:

1. There is a shuttle that will take you to Disney and Universal. It is $9 round trip per person. You have to reserve your spot on the shuttle at least two hours before pick-up and pay for it at the concierge desk if you are interested in using. If you do not reserve your spot and there isn't enough room on the shuttle then you are going to have to wait for the next one. They print out these tickets that you have to give to the driver at pick up. The cost is something that you might want to keep in mind when planning on the expenses for the trip. Would if be better to drive yourself and then pay for parking or would it be better and more convenient to take the shuttle?

2. The internet is free and there are two wifi access points, but they are both extremely slow.

3. I did visit the cafe and market during my stay. If you pay with cash I would suggest hanging on to the receipt until you check out. I had a purchase that showed up on my check out receipt that was paid for in cash at the time of purchase. Everything was taken care of, but its just something that you might want to keep in mind.

4. The walls are not sound proof. Even though the grounds and hotel are quiet if someone is going to be loud you are going to hear them. We had a family with kids that stayed near us and sometimes the kids would get a bit loud.

Awesome stay. Great staff. Excellent rooms and food. Loved the pool and slide. Privacy excellent. Perfect location for things to do. Will return there on next trip to Orlando. Recreation staff Kayla surprised up with Champagne for our 20th anniversary. Food at lunch was great.

As HGVC members we have been to International Drive (Tuscany), Kings Land (Big Island Hawaii), Waikiki Oahu Hawaii and several affiliated Fiesta Americana resorts in Mexico, and now Parc Soleil. (In addition to multiple RCI trades). This site is up to standard, but clearly has some Pros and Cons (as do all).

PROS - nice, mostly new feel and appearance; comfortable, clean rooms; nice beds; great kitchen; very large deck; nice pools and hot tubs; friendly staff.

CONS - remote location, hard to find, poorly marked entrance off main road; cold pools (a little warmer would be nice); EXTREMELY tight garage parking (designed for Minis and Fiat 500's) and some OBNOXIOUS sales staff.

Overall I recommend this location, although we prefer International Drive.

SALES TOUR - Yes we took a sales tour. As current owners, we got great respect and information from Gene, he was informative and a gentleman. Then came his obnoxious manager who mumbled his name, and proceeded to become offended when we would not immediately jump on a sale. Rude and short along with the obnoxious. I can't imagine how bad he treats potential new buyers (compared to us as current owners considering additional purchase). We closed our visit with Corporate Mike who seemed to have his act together, and salvaged the embarrassing display by the manager who clearly didn't want us to know his name (not hard to figure out why). As a 10+ year HGVC owner and HHonors Gold member of a quarter decade, my suggestion is that Hilton should send the anonymous guy packing.

Everyone always discouraged us to stay off Disney property when visiting Disney but this place proved them wrong! First of all, very clean, very nice suites. It is hard to stay in a regular hotel room after staying here. I love the kitchen (full kitchen), dining area, living room, huge bathroom. Kids loved the pool and movie night was great as we watched a family movie with apps and wine served to us pool side. It was 5 min. to SeaWorld, 10 min to Disney and 10 Min to Universal. Would come back for sure!

This was my third visit here. We always choose this place as it's far enough from the Disney mess, but close to shopping, and if you know the back routes, close to other options. The rooms are always nice, clean, and well stocked, and even though you don't get daily service, the staff will always accommodate with more towels or anything else you need. The marketplace is well stocked and can always get a quick bite and a Starbucks. The 2 pools are nice, but wish the smaller of the two was adult only, and the pool servers could be more efficient. Overall, it's a great place.
