Took the family for an Orlando vacation and stayed at Parc Soleil by HGVC. That turned out to be one of the best moves I've made all summer. We stayed in a 2BR, 2 bath condo with views of the Disney firework show every night. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to assist at all times. The kids loved the pool and when the inevitable mid day thunderstorm rolled through, they loved spending time in the recreation center. Dining at the pool was a treat, letting the kids splash around before and after dinner, and extremely reasonable also. The food was great and tasty. Overall, if you are not a HGVC member, you're missing one of the gems of the Hilton network in Orlando.

We enjoyed this place. The pool was beautiful, and they have a nice walking path around the lake. Room was huge but seemed to need one more chair. The kitchen looked nice, but the drain was a little loud and the drawers competed for space to open. We had a handicap accessible suite that we didn't need, and the layout is always less comfortable to me, though the bed was very nice. The only other drawback (and this is a matter of perspective) is it's remote. It sits all by itself out in the relative boonies. That said, it's easy to get to all the parks and the beach line toll road. We'll be back for sure.

Let me begin by saying that we are new owners in the Hilton Grand Vacations Club and this was our first stay. Ok, so we arrive at 4pm, check in time, and are told that our room isn't ready. First red flag. Check out is 10am, so if the room wasn't ready, the hotel is grossly understaffed. Next, we checked our bags with the bellman and asked that they be delivered to our room when ready, we were told that service wasn't available for "security" reasons, which meant that our family would either have to alter our evening's plans, or be prepared to "claim" our luggage late that evening. We asked how long before our room would be available and were told about an hour, so we left the resort, got to a gas station to fill up, and the resort called us to say our room was ready!! Upon our return, the young lady behind the desk very rudely asked if we couldn't get parking at Downtown Disney!! We had been gone for about 15 minutes. The next morning the bathroom flooded because the shower door didn't close properly, there are two shower heads, a rain head, which you can't use, and a handheld head which you can use if you face a certain direction such that water won't go out of the shower. Then we noticed a huge puddle of water on the kitchen floor from the refrigerator which had accumulated over night, the ice maker evidently was broken, so no ice either. Now, add insult to injury, a member of the vacation club called to ask how our first stay was going, we filled him in, he apologized and offered us a resort credit. Upon checkout this credit was not reflected on our bill. We called to speak with a manager who tried to tell us that the vacation club employee did not have the authorization to grant this credit. Eventually she did agree to honor what we had been offered. Needless to say, this property is cosmetically appealing, but the actual craftsmanship is poor. The customer service is poor. Did I mention that this property is somewhat remote, yes they offer a shuttle for guests, but it is not complimentary. Overall, with all of the other options available in Orlando I would only recommend this property as a last resort. Oh, and did I also mention that not only are we vacation club members but Hilton Diamond members as well. So, if we are treated this way imagine how they would treat a guest who had not yet reached this customer loyalty level??

Room Tip: If traveling with a family, ask for a room in tower 200, that is closest to the one restaurant, the...

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize wholeheartedly for falling short of the high level of service our Members and Guests have come to expect from us. That said, while there is certainly nothing we can do to change what you experienced at this point, we do take your comments very seriously and would welcome the opportunity to communicate with you directly so we can learn more about the particulars of your recent stay with us. With this in mind, if you would be kind enough to contact Alix Daley, our Resort Director, at Alexandra.Daley@hilton.com at your earliest convenience, we would greatly appreciate it. As a long time business user of hilton properties I do expect and pay for a certain level of comfort. However with the grand vacations they have gone over the top. Right from pulling up we were truly their guest and they show it. We were on the penthouse floor facing disney. This was a bonus as we watched fireworks every night. The pool was fabulous. Looked like going to the beach with a long slope on one side. Lots of daily activities for all. Tye dye shirt making. The best was the water slide. As big a as water park. The kids and I spent alot of time on this. there was a small on site market and light restaurant. Location was great to go to disney. About two miles to downtown disney, another mile to epcot. It is relatively new and not much else is built out there. Absolutely would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed there with my son, daughter-in-law and our four year old grandson for a week from 3rd July 2013. The place was stunning and immaculate! My son and his family had a suite with an adjoining studio for my husband and myself. The standard of accommodation was first class, there was everything you needed and more to make the holiday complete right down to the pool and view! Fantastic!

The room was wonderful and large and had an amazing view of the fireworks at Disney.

Location is great and once the Fenton street is open (very near future from the looks of construction) it will be a great short cut to avoid traffic.

Pool is wonderful and large, but not big enough when everyone is there to swim, we found it too busy to really enjoy most do the time and also really on the cold side for it being summer in Florida. Once of the 'hot tubs' was the temperature the pool water should be and the other one was nice but the jets cut out before the timer stopped then would not restart. Later that day it was working again though. The water slide was great.

Housekeeping did not do out room one day and we were left a message saying they we had put out the do not disturb sign which we did not do plus we had been back and forth from the room over the day and never saw a sign on our door even though housekeeping was on the floor when we had been in and out that day.

The cartridge in the kitchen faucet leaked and had left a water stain on the granite and they had stains from a water leak from the glass shower stall. The venting fan is tied to the water closet light being on so if you close off that area of the bathroom when using the shower the steam doesn't vent, thus causing moisture issues. It looked as if there had been an issue son the ceiling that was painted over rather than cleaning well then painting. Great bathroom but needed better maintenance work done and a really good cleaning. The tub faucet from the ceiling doesn't get cleaned often since it is impossible to clean without a step ladder.

When we first arrived there was a coffee stain down the front of the kitchen cabinets that I easily cleaned with soap and water, which really makes me wonder how they clean... Also lip stick marks on glasses in the cup boards.... Not impressed with how it is maintained.... The Tuscany property on international drive is older but better maintained.

We were on the same floor and the model for the time share pitch... So we were AMAZED at how many people were in and out of there... The model obviously has none of the maintenance issue our room had.... Since they want us to buy into it wouldn't they put us in a better maintained room?? House keeping really needs to be improved here and communicate issues with maintenance to properly fix issues.

Room Tip: Not on the same floor as their show room!

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Although we’re thrilled you found your room to be wonderful and large and you we’re able to enjoy a great view of the fireworks, we sincerely apologize for the variety of housekeeping and maintenance related challenges you experienced during your stay with us. With this in mind, while there is obviously nothing we can do to change what you experienced, we would welcome the opportunity to communicate with you directly so we can learn more about your specific stay so we can verify that all of the items you noted have been properly followed up on and attended to, so another guest is not similarly inconvenienced. With this in mind, if you would be kind enough to contact Alix Daley, our Resort Director, at Alexandra.Daley@hilton.com at your earliest convenience, we would greatly appreciate it. Again, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you directly.

We are HGVC owners and we booked a Studio unit for a 5 night getaway. We had some points left over and decided to use them in Orlando which is only an hour and a half away. As usual we found the resort to be really nice. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a bad experience the first night as we were unlucky to have very noisy neighbors that came to their room at 2:45 AM and didn't quiet down until 4:00 AM. We talked to Customer Service in the morning and they immediately moved us to another room.

We pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meals served in the Soleil Café and the food selections in the Coffee Shop/Café.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the elevator to avoid elevator shaft noise and people traffic.
