It was a very easy location (aside from the current road construction). Beautiful pool with plenty of activities (like a water slide) for our two boys (6 & 9 yr olds). This was our 2nd time at a HGVC location. The fitness center was nice/clean with plenty of Precor treadmills, elipicals, weights, etc. We found the jogging path (0.5 miles around a small lake) to be convienent. We The marketplace had a decent selection of sundries as well as deli foods. Walmart is relatively close, as well as many other stores.

I agree with some others, that a more gentle light for the bathrooms in the evening would be nice.

We would stay at this location again.

Room Tip: Our 1 bedroom was in tower 2, 11 floor, facing the pool. We had a great view of the movie from our balcony. Plenty of space and the pull out was quite large.

Overall the experience was very good. We did experience some elevator problems and long waits to get up and down but otherwise the rooms are very spacious, in excellent condition, the staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant although not fancy was reasonable and very good

This resort is a very comfortable, well appointed facility. My husband & I stayed at Parc Soleil for a week long couples get away; we stayed in Tower 2. The resort is conveniently located near Disney World, shopping, and restaurants. Note that at the time we visited Parc Soleil, the area & road in which the resort is located was under construction. The impact is that the resort's future main entrance isn't available and the traffic was often rerouted. No real negative impact to us during our trip, but something to be aware of. We stayed in a 1 BR suite. I would highly recommend this type of accommodation. The size of all the rooms was great (very large). The bed was really comfortable, as were the living room and dining room furniture. We also used the fitness center during our stay....the equipment is excellent (Precor cardio machines)...there are several weight lifting machines and a rack of free weights. The room isn't very large, but the equipment is enough to allow you to maintain your fitness routine. We also ate dinner one night in the Marketplace Cafe. I had a cheeseburger...it was REALLY good. My husband had one of the flat breads; he also enjoyed his meal. The only negative comments I will make is that each day during our stay either an elevator &/or one of the jacuzzi tubs wasn't working. Maintenance workers were always available to repair these items, but it was odd that these items kept breaking. Overall our visit was comfortable; we had a great relaxing vacation.

This is a hotel that is a bit secluded, but not far from many attractions in Orlando. Near Universal for fun activities but the in house pool, restaurant/bar are plenty if you feel like relaxing for the day. This was an enjoyable, relaxing hotel with a good mix of quiet relaxation and near by fun attractions.

We have been to the International Drive and the Sea World Resorts a few times in the past. We upgraded our ownership to this location years ago, when it was just a set of plans and a dusty field, but this was our first time booking Parc Soleil so we were very excited to see it. We had a 2-bedroom suite on the 9th floor overlooking the pool with our kids (14 and 16 and their two friends). The room was beautiful and so was the rest of the resort. I'll just give a list of pros and cons...
PROS:
- Lots of activities by pool, great slide, ping pong and pool in the activity center
- Even during Spring Break (ours is 4/13-20), it never seemed busy any where in the hotel, restaurant or pool areas. We never heard any noise from other rooms or in the hallway.
- Staff overall was very polite (see one note below) and accomodating to any need.
- Pull out couch (king size) was huge for two teenagers to sleep on comfortably. We requested more comforters and pillows, so they were in heaven!
- Got AMAZING sports massages on our last day. There were massages in chairs by the big pool on a few afternoons, but we opted to order our own on a table under the private cabanas away from the crowd and sun (arranged through the activity center).
- Nice market/deli with good sandwiches, ice cream, iced teas, coffees, etc. Restaurant had some good food too, but the menu is limited with no specials so we got sick of it quickly.
- Close drive to any chain restaurant you can possibly think of, so you don't have to commit to the parks (or the prices) at night for dinner.
- We thought the parking garage was a HUGE plus. We could get to our room so much quicker than at the other resorts, and not getting into a steaming hot car was a plus.
- The Fitness Center is clean, cardio equipment is up-to-date with TVs and lots of weights, stability balls, med balls, etc. I also did some laps around the lake which is pretty. It's only a 1/2 mile around but good enough (and fenced in nicely so you don't have to stare at the barren field surrounding it.)
CONS:
- Small suggestion for rooms: The bathroom is huge and beautiful but there are no smaller night lights. So if you get up in the middle of the night, you are either blinded by bright lights or walk into things in the pitch black. Then to use the toilet, you turn on the light and a very loud fan automatically goes on and the very loud flushing toilet. With six people in our condo, there was no way to get up in the middle of the night without waking everyone else.
- Kitchen garbage bin is tiny under the sink and fills up quickly, plus there are no garbage bags provided.
- Drinks by the pool were pretty weak and watered down. My husband commented on this to one of the young waiters, and he was kind of obnoxious about it, instead of apologetic. One time, my daughter ordered a virgin frozen drink and she found a finger nail in it. We called the same waiter over and he said, "Eew, that's gross and brought her another of the same drink." She was pretty disgusted and we thought they could have at least offered something else for free.
- While the resort itself if beautiful, it was disappointing to see that after all these years it's still in the middle of a dusty field. The original 'temporary' building, where they sold us the upgrade is still there and decaying on the field. Obviously, it's because the economy tanked, but it's still depressing to look out and see from your balcony, or drive by every day coming and going.
- The boys wanted to play basketball, but when we went to seek out the courts, we saw that they (along with the tennis courts) are on the other side of the dusty field which is a hike. We wouldn't let them walk over there by themselves, so they never got to play.
Overall, we had a great trip and would probably go again. But we all agreed that we thought the International Drive property is prettier overall.

Room Tip: The first five floors have no view. We were on the ninth with a view of the pool. We could see the kids when they were at the pool area and it was high enough that there was really no noise .
