I call Epcot the adult park as the countries appeal more to adults and the rides offered are mild for the most part (except for the Racetrack and the Mission to Mars). We were fortunate to be visiting during the Epcot Wine and Food Festival. This was the very adult part of the park which we enjoyed. We learned quickly that it is best to buy a gift card and put money on it for the vendors at the many wine and food booths as cash and other credit cards slowed them down. We were fortunate to be staying on the property so we had our guest card to use. Besides visiting the many exhibits around the world that Epcot normally has, the many booths offering samples of the countries wine and food were outstanding. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we made Epcot a two day tour for us. Epcot has always been my favorite Disney Park but the Wine and Food festival but it leaps ahead of the other parks.

Having visited the Magic Kingdom it was a relief to find wide sidewalks with lots of room for walkers and strollers. We came mid November and I was disappointed to see that the topiary displays had not been setup yet. We've come before with family and children so this time our goal was to visit the various countries and to see the "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" show.

China is the most photographic pavilion. Beautiful reflective pond in front. It is a replica of a temple in China with a large Chinese gate. We got to see the "Jeweled Dragon Acrobats" with their colorful costumes and amazing feats of strength and agility.

Continuing around the lake we were ready for Germany's Biergarten for a beer to go with a Brat with Sauerkraut and topped it off with an apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce. Good examples of German cuisine especially the strudel.

Liberty Theater is well worth the stop. The animation was superb and the dialogue about America was deep and moving. We also listened to the "Voices of Liberty" a choral group that sang popular songs of the South. They are a world famous 8 part cappella group that has performed all over the world. Wonderful melodies. In the evening this is the site for a pipe and drum ceremony with small children that is cute.

Lots of character setups. Each character has it's own country location such as - Mulan in China, Mary Poppins in United Kingdom, Belle in France etc. Kids have a great time meeting their favorite character.

I have to say that the "IllumiNations: Reflection of Earth" is a high tech, beautifully orchestrated show. I think it is better than "Fantasmic". It is one of the most technically challenging of all the light shows that Disney presents. Beautiful and perfect way to end the night.

Can you see this in one day - no there is always something for the next visit. Go slow and enjoy.

Lots of walking and things to look at. A nice variety of hodgepodge characters and events that go on. The rides are cool as well.

We went to Epcot over the Wine and Dine half marathon weekend, not only to enjoy the food and wine festival but to run the wine and dine half marathon. We spent most of our time in Epcot and went on almost all the rides in Futureworld. The ride in Spaceship Earth has been totally redone and is a nice, relaxing ride for all ages. Mission Space is awesome, but if you have any tendency to get nauseous on a moving ride, go for the green version of the ride, as the orange one is very very intense (been on both). Test track is still my favorite ride, and its also been redone in the past couple of years and the interactive part is all new. Soarin is in the Land and is one of the most popular rides.
If you go, you should go early, get a fast pass for either Soarin or Test Track first, then go back for the other ride. The rest of the rides either have a singles line that moves fairly quickly or small waits during crowded times.

Fun as well as interesting!

Learnt a lot and really enjoyed it.

'Soaring' is really amazing and the walking around the lake through all the different 'cities' was really something. Busy, but less busy than the other parks we found, which was quite nice.

The Fireworks are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I would recommend them above all the other displays! Beautiful, dazzling and even heart warming!
