I had visited Epcot once before but only for an evening to view the fireworks show. This time I went back to spend the day and take in the attractions. I was somewhat disappointed. Many of the rides appear old and dated and in need of a complete makeover.

The waiting times for the popular rides such as Test Track and Soarin were extremely long and not really worth the wait.

The showcase of countries were worth seeing simply for the interesting architecture however the cultural aspects of those countries seemed lacking. Most of the countries represented seemed to be just a typical tourist gift shop with overpriced merchandise.

Probably the bright spot of my visit were the Fish & Chips at the Rose & Crown in the England display. Although pricy the fish & chips were excellent as was the service.

Entertainment also seemed to be lacking throughout the park.

The park has two parts. The first part is where my cousins and I started. We saw attractions that are both educational and fun. They feature advances in technology such as the attraction called the Land. It was interesting to see many fruits and vegetables growing without chemicals. The other side of the park is called The World Showcase. Once can experience the culture and food from 11 countries such as Norway, China, Canada, Japan, Mexico, and France. Etc. You can buy products native from that country and there is entertainment. Mexico and Norway has two fun rides. We ate dinner at a eatery in Japan. It was pretty good for fast Japanese food and the prices were reasonable. The entire parks takes about 11 -12 hours to go through the entire park. You are allowed to bring a water bottle in. This is what I did and I kept refilling it from the fountains. I have been to Epcot lots of times and still enjoy it so much. Great place to feel like a kid again or if you are a kid then enjoy it with your parents. It is approx $90.00 a ticket.

This is such a fun park. There is so much to see and do. Be prepared to walk a lot! The attractions are really far apart. It took us about 6 hrs. just to walk the world showcase. It was well worth it. There is so much to see from different countries. I enjoyed the fact that they hired the workers directly from each specific country so you really felt as if you were there. Beautifully designed park.
