First off it was hard to find the lobby and valet area. The valet area is SO narrow and not marked well. We missed it the first time around. The carpet in our room was black and worn. At checkout the front desk said they changing out the carpets. Unacceptable for the price charged. They were nice at the front desk and gave us some extra hotel points. The location is great walking distance to Lake Eola, Church Street Station and restaurants although you'd never know there is no information about the surrounding area. One really odd thing is that our room had no trash can by the desk in the room just in the bathroom. The bed and bathroom were nice. Housekeeping came very late in the afternoon to freshen linens which is also odd. The carpet in our room was dirty and worn. You could see it buckling by the room door. This is also unacceptable for a room of this price. I had the BLT sandwich in the lounge which was excellent as was the service. We had Sunday brunch which was excellent but a bit pricy $30 to $35 would be more reasonable. The jazz duo was too loud. Eliminate the jazz duo and lower the food price. We ate breakfast twice at La Boheme and the food and service was excellent albeit a bit pricy even for an upscale hotel. PLEASE management the art is hidious! It is like a cheap abstract Picasso wannabe type furninshings. The white statue and zebra chairs in the small lobby should be removed immediately! The head statue on the elevator on our floor was like from a haunted house. The tile mosaic art of naked women of orgy type subjects were offensive. The painting of a dark little girl doll type thing was demonic reminded me of something from the movie "Rosemary's Baby." Valet and bellmen service was excellent. Finally, the concierge forgot to tag one of my bags out front and I had to drive back and get it, fortunately was had not fully left town. Overall, disappointed for the money and would not recommend.

Room Tip: Not face the construction site.

Thank you for your observations. We are “an experience in art and music” and definitely have a bohemian style. We are happy you enjoyed our restaurant and service. Our Sunday Jazz Brunch is certainly a wonderful tradition here.

I stayed here for one night on business last week. The staff was very welcoming and helpful; the room comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Orlando, making it very easy to get to and from meeting if you are in the area. In the morning, I had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Food was good, but service was very slow. Don't go if you are in a hurry.

We were married at The Grand Bohemian on New Years Day. The staff was wonderful. Rebecca Skokowski in particular. She was very attentive and made our destination wedding planning less stressful. The hotel was beautiful. The artwork and decor were gorgeous but the rooftop was perfect for a sunset wedding on a warm January day! We were surprised with chocolates and champagne in our room and received first class treatment! Highly recommend for a wedding, a romantic getaway or an Orlando destination stay.

The moment you arrive you realize you're on a boutique hotel but very charming. The staff is very nice. The location is perfect. The only downside is the club. Nothing there. Don't bother not worth it.

Truly enjoyed this hotel for one night. Zoe checked us and upon arrival kindly informed us of an upgrade for our 2 year anniversary. She also presented us with a discount at the spa, we have a massage appointment scheduled. She was very nice and informative. The hotel was beautiful and had a great vibe in the lounge area. Loved looking at all the art. Cool location, close walk to other restaurants. Spa was very nice, had a very nice couples massage. Spa is small but nice ambiance. All the staff at the front desk, valet and lounge were very friendly.

Room Tip: King Suite is nice but there is a window into the bathroom, closes for view but not for sounds
