We stayed here for 5 days with the Disney Dining experience well worth the money sometimes too much food for us. Rooms were great we had a room close to the reception. Large pool fab but we enjoyed the smaller pool hidden behind the trees. Transport great the boat to Down Disney could of been a little bit more slicker. You can eat at the sister hotel a short walk away which is well worth it and a fun slide for the kids. We would stay here again just need to get saving.

Stayed here a couple of nights again. Did not go to any parks just enjoyed the resort. Pools are well kept. Had a room in the mansions section this time. Love this resort. Could not use the boats to Downtown Disney because of too much rain. Buses were okay by Disney standard. Never waited more then 20 minutes for one to come.

My family of four loved this resort! We were very impressed with the lobby, the grounds, and the room. We stayed in Magnolia Terrace, building 85, which is close to the pools and main buildings.
Some of the other buildings are farther away, and quite a walk, so keep that in mind.
The room was decorated very nicely, and there is a curtain to separate the sink area from the bed area, which gives you some privacy. The beds were very comfortable. The room has a fridge but no microwave. There is a microwave in the dining hall you can use though.
Quiet pool was nice. My kids liked it better than the main one. There are laundry facilities around the quiet pools too.
Bus service was good. Didn't have to wait very long for any of them. The only thing we didn't like was that the bus to Animal Kingdom also stops at Blizzard Beach, and that makes it a very long bus ride. We ended up driving over one day instead and it was so much quicker. There is a boat you can take to Downtown Disney which is nice and relaxing.
Would we go back to Port Orleans Riverside? Yes! We have also stayed at the Wilderness, and we loved Port Orleans just as much!

We stayed here mid July, my wife and I along with our two children. Our last visit to Orlando 10 years ago we stayed on I Drive, this beats I Drive hands down. Lovely surroundings, which, even within touching distance of all the attractions is the perfect place to stay to unwind from all the hustle and bustle of the parks.
Great food, we took the Disney Dinning plan and must have saved a small fortune. We have decided already when we return in 2015 there is no need to hunt around for ideas in accommodation, this is the place to stay!

Room Tip: Rooms are a small stroke from the resteraunts however the grounds are so lovely it was a pleasure ev...

My family and I drove to Disney from Ma for the first time. We arrived early (before our 3pm suggested check in time) and by the time we grabbed lunch at the food court, we learned our room was ready via text, which I thought was great! We stayed in building 17 which was convenient to the food court, pools, and busses. What a quiet relaxing resort, we almost felt like we were had the place to our selves. The room was clean and perfect for our family. My youngest used the trundle bed with the cutest bayou alligator painted on it. The beds were really comfortable, and the maid service was exceptional. Every day they would do something different with the towels and my children's stuffed animas, it was fun to come into the room and see what was new. The food was great! we did the dining plan, and we were grateful we did, we thought there was nice options at the resort. We also took a nice boat ride to Downtown Disney one evening, and the captain was great.. he did magic tricks for my youngest that he really liked. We would definitely stay here again when we go back to Disney!! Can not wait!

We've now stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside and it fits our family of 5 very well. It's on the Disney property which allows you access to all the Disney amenities like the bus line to all park, airport bag check and transportation and the Disney dining plan. Our room has always been clean and we could fit everyone without a problem. They have recently redone the rooms and our room had a Murphy bed instead of a rollaway which made it easier to move around the room. The hotel also had a nice pool with a water slide that our kids enjoyed when we weren't at the parks. The dining area had a wide variety of options and our meals there were always good. Like with most Disney hotels, you aren't spending a lot of time in your hotel room but the Port Orleans offers a very comfortable stay for our family when we were back at the hotel.

Two week holiday - absolutely no complaints. Dinning plan gets a bit repetitive but the food is good quality. Great place to relax at after a full day at the parks. Only little niggles were I thought the room would be bigger and the place is absolutely huge so can be a thought to walk down to the pool.
