Rooms are very clean, a bit small but you will probably be at the theme parks all day as we were, so just a place to sleep and unwind after a long day in the heat and humidity.. Fridge in the room came in handy. Swimming pool was small but nice, looks huge on their website for some reason. Staff very helpful, nice people at the front desk. Hotel stays busy, so complimentary breakfast room is packed in th mornings. Overall, we had a great experience, and hotel is close (15 to 20 minutes) to all the theme parks. supermarkets close at 10;00pm, but CVS and Walgreens stay open later.. Sporadic thunderstorms, kind of like Hawaii weather, so be ready for that. But it didn't really stop us... you just find some shelter or go into a store/giftshop, wait for it stop, and it usually does after about 15 minutes... and keep on truckin'. Good experience with this hotel..

We stayed here last year while visiting Orlando and because of how great the hotel, room, rates, and location was we stayed again this summer. As I said last year- location is wonderful- right by SeaWorld and Aquatica along with good restaurants too. The hotel completed it's renovation that was started when we were there last year. The breakfast area as well as room were nice and the pool was great too. Front desk girl that checked us in was pleasant and made sure we had what we needed. She also got us a 1st floor room near the exit and pool which helped with bringing stuff in and easy access to pool for the kids. Only problem that we didn't have this year and reason for the 4 stars and not 5 was the size of room and the bathroom- I only imagine this was due to the remodel as the room last year was good size as well as the shower too. This time around I noticed there was a 2nd elevator in the hotel (beside our room) that wasn't there last year- I imagine it was put in during the remodel and took up space that otherwise would have been space in our room. Our room was noticably smaller so with 2 adults and 3 kids even though we spent most of our time at the parks it was cramped. The biggest issue was the walk in shower- whoever designed it needs to go back to school- first off it's small but then the door swung into the shower! So you either turned the water on first then got in making the water hit the door and spray everywhere or you got in then turned the water on which met standing in ice cold water until it heated up- either way very uncomfortable. Also because of the way the door swung it made it very difficult for anyone of size (not someone very large, just a little big) to even use the shower.
Otherwise- the location, rate, cleanliness make this place a great selection!

Room Tip: Perhaps our room was smaller because it was next to new elevator- if so get a room away from the ele...

We are so glad you enjoyed another stay at the Best Western Plus Orlando Convention Center. Our guests are our number one priority and we love to hear their happy comments. Thank you for the notes about the shower. The design is due to safety issues, but we will take your comments into consideration for any future changes. Come back and see us soon!

I stayed here for 10 days with my two kids (23 & 16) and we had a ball. If you want the luxury hotel with all the trimmings and the big price that goes with it don't come here. We came for a holiday so all we want is a CLEAN hotel, with FRIENDLY staff, and basic amenities like a TV and a fridge. This place scores high in our books and is in a great location as you can walk to Sea World and Aquatica in about 6 minutes. You do get a mini breakfast which is fine and is enough to get the day started, but get up early to avoid disappointment as if might have all gone....but your in Orlando to enjoy the place not to sit in your hotel room all day.
Reception very helpful.
Rooms very clean
TV big
Fridge
Ice machine and washing machines
Don't have doubts just book it and enjoy Orlando

Room Tip: Be nice to the man behind the dest at reception

Located in walking distance of Seaworld. Price is really good for location. Only a few cable channels and shower pressure wasn't that great.. Overall good experience! Would stay there again.

After reading the reviews on TA and booking I had good expectations about this hotel. However they were quickly turned down.
- the breakfast is pathetic and the room is ridicolously small
- the room smell of mould and are populated with tiny crawling creatures
You get what you pay, that is not much
I would spend few bucks more and get something better

We are very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Our guest experience is important to us. So we value your comments. Our rooms are brand new. If you had any issues with mold or insects, we only would request that you please let us know. That way we have the opportunity to immediately correct the problem. Our breakfast includes a large assortment of items - eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereals, breads and pastries, coffee, tea, juice and milk. This is quite extensive for an included breakfast. So we hope you might consider giving us another try should your travels bring you to Orlando again.

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading down to Palm Beach. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was alright, seemed quite old fashioned, but that might be a Best Western thing, not having stayed in one before, I don't know. Found it very odd that there was a notice in the room offering you the chance to buy any furnishings in the room! The room wasn't overly large, but was comfortable, I wouldn't spend a week here, but as a stop over in Orlando, it was ok. Breakfast was disappointing, 1 person filling up everything and she was rushed off her feet. Scrambled eggs and sausage came in from another room and got put in the mocrowave where you were eating, so nothing is prepared on site. There was fruit, cereal, pastries, breads, usual spreads, jams etc. The oddest pancake making machine I have ever come across, push a button and after a minute or so a hot pancake comes out of the other end! An endless queue for this and it kept jamming, so not very successful at all. Also, only 14 seats inside for the whole hotel and another 12 outside - no where near enough seats and the room when you do eat is tiny, like an after thought. On the plus side, easy to find, plenty parking, just off International Drive, easy to walk or drive to get something to eat.

Room Tip: quiet rooms as off International Drive

We value guest impressions, so thank you for your comments after your stay. We are a brand new hotel having just completed a total Best Western Plus renovation less than a year ago. To our rooms, we added upgrades like 42" flat screen TV's, refrigerators, granite vanities and new modern furniture. Our new bedding has been so popular many guests have requested information about how to purchase items. We also upgraded our complimentary breakfast to include eggs, meat, fresh fruit, cereals and the very popular pancake machine. Our breakfast seating area has over 50 chairs (inside and out). We also added amenities such as a business center with free access to computers, fax and printers. We strive to provide quality and service at an affordable price point. We hope you will consider us if your travels bring you to Florida again soon.

I chose this hotel because it is just across the road from sea world( come out of the hotel, turn right until you come to a zebra crossing,on the left is a road that takes you to the sea world car park) all of 2 mins. The hotel is only 4 floors, so not too big. The rooms are comfortable and very clean .Derick on the front desk was very friendly and gave me information about the trolly bus( across the road) that takes you all the way to universal studios or Orlando point where all the restaurants, cinema, clubs are for $1.25, amazing. The pool was big, but not many chairs and sun loungers. The breakfast was ok, eggs, ham, bagels, toast, pancakes etc. etc.,but go before 8.30 otherwise it gets very crowded and you may not get a table. I would recconmend this hotel.

Room Tip: I was on the fourth floor. It was quite even though it over looked the front of the hotel. I could s...
