I have been to Universal so many times with my family that staying at the Royal Pacific is like a annual thing for me. It continues to never disappoint. The location is great as it's a short walk to the parks. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The theme of the hotel and its up-to-date decor are great. I have stayed at all 3 Universal hotels and this one is the best!

The moment you walk over the bridge towards the reception area you know you are in for something special. This wonderful hotel has a "South Seas" theme and all the public areas and the grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We only had 4 nights here so unfortunately, did not have the free time to enjoy the hotel. There is a great pool area for the kids to enjoy and there is even 2 small sandy beaches which no-one seems to use. There are a number of dining options here and the pool bar & grill serves delicious burgers and sandwiches. We also had the buffet breakfast on 2 occasions which was really nice if a little pricey. On our last night we booked for the "wok experience" in the Islands Dining Room. Basically, you choose the meat, vegtables and sauce you want and then you take your bowl to the chef who cooks it infront of you. You can go up as many times as you want and it was a fun evening.
Of course, the main reason you are staying here is for the Universal parks and getting there couldn't be easier. A lovely 10 minute walk along the waterway will take you to City Walk, Islands of Advetnure and Universal Studios. This takes all the hassle out of parking or getting a bus. There is also a water taxi up to the parks but to be honest it is quicker to walk! Quite nice to get a boat back though after a tiring day at the parks. When you do return to the hotel it seems like a world away from the parks and you really appreciate the peace and tranquility of the Royal Pacific although when the wind is blowing in the right direction you can still hear the roar of the Hulk coaster and the screams of the people on it!! Another big advantage of staying here is the free Express Pass which allows you to jump the queues on almost every ride. It was so good, we have already booked up for next year. I remember the waiter at breakfast on our last morning saying "see you next year". I wonder how he knew??

Lobby and grounds were beautiful,. Staff were very friendly and informative. Most of the food we tried was wonderful. Room service was quick, and really good. The sushi bar was excellent. Next time I want to try the breakfast Buffett it looked wonderful! Only complaint was Bula food service was not great by the pool. We had a huge plate of cold nachos. Drinks were good.
Some people have complained of noise. It did seem like I could hear lot of what was going on in lobby but it was tolerable. Good for purples and families

Our family has stayed at the Royal Pacific for the 4th year in a row. We really enjoy the atmosphere and the staff is so courteous and accommadating. The doorman "Ron" remembered us from past visits and welcomed us with open arms (literally). The staff in general is very helpful, from setting up your chair by the pool to the turndown service at night.

Rooms are luxurious and cleaning staff most efficient and thorough.

The food at the various restaurnants doesn't disappoint in any way.

All in all a wonderful vacation.

We stayed here for four nights as part of a fourteen night visit to Florida and I loved everything about this hotel! It was a wonderful experience for the whole family. The pool area is fabulous and the children loved nothing better than swimming and playing until late each night. A movie is screened each evening by the pool and there is a great family atmosphere.
Our room was very well appointed with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The staff were friendly and helpful, food of a high standard and a wonderful destination very close to Universal
Would love to return it was fabulous

We selected the hotel for the free express passes they provide for both Universal Studios parks and we got so much more. Incredible staff, nice rooms and terrific amenities just to name a few. The rooms are a bit smaller than I expected but we were not in them that much anyways! A great place to celebrate a birthday as well as Mother's Day!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were polite and extremely helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable decorated to the Royal Pacific theme well (comfortable bed with plenty of blankets!). The onsite dining offered good variety and was excellent. The pool and hot tub areas were beautiful and clean with an interesting design aspect. The grounds themselves were well kept and landscaped in line with the theme again beautifully to allow for peaceful relaxation after a busy day at the theme parks. I think the only drawback is that everything is so pricy ($7 water in your room or $7 room service oatmeal). Other than that- no complaints. We were very happy with our choice!

Room Tip: Request a room in Tower one or three- near the pool area- or it can be a bit of a hike.
