Have stayed at the other two All Star resorts. The Music was better then what I expected. There was no problems with the room. The activities by the pool was very nice. Kids enjoyed them allot. Food was what I expected from a quick place. The turkey dinner was very good. The steak look very good at the carving station as well. The room was very clean. This one did not need any work on it. Stayed in a preferred room. First time doing this in the 5 stays on property. Nice being near the main pool and main building. Did not like the long drive on the buses to get to places, but knew that going in. The All Star resorts are the farthest from most places.

Stayed here with my boyfriend when visiting Disneyworld on a room only basis. Our rooms were £60 per night through Expedia which we felt was really good value! The hotel complex is huge, with the Movies and Sports resort almost onsite but everywhere is easy to walk to on the complex and the pools are huge!
The room was plenty big enough for the both of us and the bed was really comfortable. We had a small fridge, but no freezer in it. The bathroom was a wet room, which was fine.
The best bit about the hotel was the amazing transportation service to the parks. Disney say buses are around every 20 minutes but we never waited for more than 10 minutes at either the park or the resort. It was really handy not needing a car and we will definitely be staying here again next summer. The extra magic hours were a real bonus also and we used them to reduce our waiting times at the park. Brilliant hotel!

We stayed at this resort from 8/10/2013-8/16/2013. The staff and resort was nice. Rooms are extremely clean. We checked in a day early and they had a room for us. The pool is awesome and always clean. Only complaint is that the All Star Resort next door was remodeling their restaurant so all those people came to our resort for meals and it made for long lines and difficulty finding seating. So most days we ate at restaurants in the parks. If you want a room close to the pool, check-in, restaurant etc., pay a little more for a preferred room. We did and were so happy! Just an FYI: the bus transit system is shared by all 3 All Star Resorts so they become very crowded and you may have to stand on the bus. This becomes a problem after a long long long day at the parks.

Room Tip: Stay in a preferred room. They are close to the pool, restaurant, and Disney bus system. Room 1401 is a 1st floor corner room.

If you are looking to travel on a budget but want to stay at a resort on property at Disney, you can't go wrong here. We got a family suite (separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms) and had a wonderful time. We knew we weren't going to spend a ton of time in the room so we looked for the least expensive room that would meet our requirements. This was it! There was a pool 10 steps from our room that offered a kiddie pool and shallow and deep end big pool as well as games and activites for the kids and a movie by the pool every night! There was a small gift shop/sundries store and of course a quick-service cafeteria style eating area in the main building along with a game room for the kids. We loved our stay and the staff was wonderful. We always came back to a clean room with little washcloth/towel animals awaiting our arrival. Our children also had Mickey and Minnie dolls that the staff did cute things with for our return. Our kids loved it!

We found a great deal for this hotel online and decided to give it a chance. We loved the perk of being able to use the Disney Magic Express to pick us up from the airport and take us right to the hotel. We checked in and got a room in the country fairs "cowboy boots" section of the hotel which is about as far back as you can go and pretty private which was perfect for us. If you are staying with a family, you might want to request the jazz or reggae area as both are closer to the dining area, lobby, pool, and buses. We were very pleased to see two huge pools (one kid oriented with Donald and nightly movies) and a radio pool that was geared more for adults. Every day we waited to get on very packed buses that stopped at the all star sports before picking us up. They also stopped at the movies and sports on the return trip. We wished up and realized it is often faster to take the Epcot or magic kingdom bus. And then transfer by boat or monorail to the park we wanted to get to. We also found out that we could take a monorail or boat to another hotel and more expensive hotels had more buses for us to jump on which made traveling much faster! The gift shop Mistro Mickeys was cute and the cast members were very sweet and helpful. they were excited about pin trading with you and reminded you about the nightly. Pin board displayed at every movie night. The dining at all star music was very basic American cuisine and only open until midnight. We'd highly recommend getting a refillable cup because we took it to every hotel we hopped to and filled it up for free. The only negative thing we encountered about the hotel was the transportation fromDowntown Disney back to the hotel. We sat over an hour waiting for. A return bus and it made us get back to the hotel late which did not allow us to meet the 1pm baggage deadline(we missed it by 5 mins, I mean come on!), so we had to Take all of our luggage and check it at the airline for the return flight. Overall, if you want Disney perks without the price tag and will be spending much of your time in the parks, this hotel is right for you.

Room Tip: Country faire rooms are farthest away from everything but comfy and quiet.
