This restaurant is located on the far end of Downtown Disney. We were impressed with the free valet parking, but we're slightly turned off by the odor of a dirty sponge or dishrag when we walked through the door. We were seated quickly in a booth far too large for the two of us, but it was right in front of a fish tank and worked out perfectly. Our server was super attentive, asked if we had questions about the menu and even asked the kitchen about a couple of dishes due to my nut allergy. My husband loved the pickles, they were a nice touch. We started with steamers which were good, but a little bland. I ordered the fried shrimp which came with hush puppies and French fries and my husband had a porterhouse which was cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes. There is nothing to complain about the food, it was served hot and tasted great. We will return when visiting Orlando and try some of the other dishes!

The restaurant is a list of chains that you find on a taxi and all of them cater to the tourist crowds..tons of flash but nothing exceptional..the steaks are the same they serve at Charley's and can get better for lower or same prices at a good chop house. The food is overpriced but expected being right outside Disney. The manager was extremely sweet and nice when the food came out raw..not they offered anything for the delay or comp...just a nice apology.
The desserts were good but the overall seafood and steak dishes we got were run of the mill.

We are very sorry you did not enjoy your dinner with us at Johnnie's. We take great pride in our steaks and seafood and hope you give us another opportunity to regain your trust. We offer entrees ranging from $17 to $40, all of which include our signature house salad. Our Stone Crab pricing is the best in Orlando. Nonetheless, we value your business and hope you personally reach out to the General Manager so that we can facilitate a future visit. Thank you.

Johnny's used to be a class act. The staff used to be very professional and well trained. Sadly the best thing Johnny's has going for it is the free valet service. The last few dining experiences have been a huge disappointment. The host/hostesses are unfriendly and seem disorganized. The restaurant is dirty, right down to the film on the wine glasses to stuff floating in the water glasses and it's not the ice cubes. The restrooms needed attention as well. Everyone that dined at our table was served cold food that must have sat for at least a half an hour before it was served. The steaks were all well under cooked and the seafood dishes lacked that special something that Johnny's was know for. Our waitress seemed more interested in the neighboring table of business men next to our large table. I've been on plenty of business dinners and know that business dinner generate larger tips however we were very gracious tippers despite the lackluster service. We were squished into a table that made it impossible for one side of the table to be served without the waitstaff reaching completely across the table to reach the other diners. Two of our family members had drinks and food spilled on them during our meal as a result. To top off the already disappointing meal those of us who ate the lobster mac & cheese all shared the same gastrointestinal problems within hours of dining at Johnny's. Coincidence, most likely not and it was certainly not the "special something" in the seafood we were looking for. While we once looked forward to an evening at Johnny's we'll have to spend our money elsewhere. The restaurant group that owns Johnny's really needs to take look at the decline in quality of this restaurant. It's really disappointing.

This is the only place I've ever had Madagascar Shrimp-better than lobster. Usually we have Stone Crabs but we now have a new favorite. We go here whenever we go to Orlando.

I have gone here several times Once with business and twice with family It has a wonderful wine list great steaks and a really impressive menu When one of my family did get an off tasting dish(the lobster tails) they quickly replaced it with another entrée and took both off the bill And They have Frog legs for those adventurous enough to try !!

Thank Johnnydez
