Read all of the reivews, some were not good, others ok, so thought we would try another adventure! The wife really liked her meal, mine was so so! Robert was our server and he did a real good job even though I did not get all that I ordered and he adjusted the bill after I asked him about the order...not much on the financial side but still...

I ordered off of the happy hour menu, which was limited but good, the calamari, shrimp and lobster fritters, and a shrimp cocktail. The wife ordered the shashimi and lobster mac and cheese, loved the mac and cheese, the shasami was good but was served on a bed of lettuce??? My calamari was not cooked thoroughly, and neither was the fritters. The fritters were mushy on the inside while the outside was cooked well (oil was too hot!), and never got the shrimp cocktail and only got half of the fritters that I ordered. The atmosphere was wonderful, the servings were hugh, the service was super, but the food was lacking. If the food would have been prepared correctly, this would have been a 5 star, but I gave it a 4 star and it probably should be a 3 star. Robert made the difference.

Me and my husband went for happy hour. The cantalope martini was really great as were the appetizers. We had the tuna nachos with were really good as well as the calamari!
We didn't stay for dinner because the prices were high.

Food was great! Service was great! We actually went back again 3 days later for another wonderful dinner. Normally we would not have done that because when in a different city and state on vacation we like to experience many different things but we could not resist.

Our family went to johnnies in june.2012, it was great. There was 6 of us, and we had a nice long table with a window view. our servers were the best. We all had drinks, while we were looking at the menu, and were not rushed at all. Our food was excellent, everyone of us enjoyed it so much, and the portions were so big.We were on vacation and were from Philadelphia suburbs, so we had no idea were to get a good dinner,it was our last night and we wanted to go for a special dinner, well it was great. The doubletree where we stayed told us that we would enjoy johhnies, well it was the best dinner we had on our trip. The prices were good also.So it you want a good steak, go to johnnies, cause the next time I go to disney, we will eat at this restaurant, cause its really good.
