“Great Property!!”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

This was my third time staying at a Disney Property. In the past, I stayed at the All-Star Music Resorts; which to be honest, were fine. It's not like anyone spends a lot of time in their rooms at Disney World anyway. However, this time I wanted to stay at a place that was a little more relaxing. Coronado Springs did not disappoint. I loved the hammocks on the "beach", the gorgeous grounds and breathtaking views. Taking a nap in a hammock was the perfect way to relax before dinner.

Before going, I read a lot of reviews of people complaining about how long they had to wait for buses and about how bad the food was. Sure, Pepper Market isn't amazing but who would expect it to be? It's a quick service type restaurant and the food is at least decent. I will say that I absolutely loved the food at Maya Grill. I got the San Antonio Fajita Skillet. The corn souffle that came with it was to die for!! I still think about it almost every day. As for the buses, why would someone expect to be picked up within a couple of minutes? I don't remember ever having to wait for an unexpectedly long amount of time and even if I had, who cares? It's vacation!! If you can't stop rushing on vacation, then when can you?

I would definitely stay here again. We did enjoy some of the amenities at the higher end resorts, such as the spa at the Grand Floridian and the pool at the Animal Kingdom Villas, but I'm not sure I would want to pay all that extra money just to stay on those properties. I had a wonderful time at Coronado.

Room was small and we had bugs. I can't say it was a bad stay but when we saw these little bugs everywhere then it became bad stay. Disney is noted to have the best of everything everywhere. This just was not their best. I would never stay here again. This is sub standard in every way.

We had a good stay at Coronado Springs. Our past trips to Walt Disney World we have stayed at the more "Disney" themed resorts. This resort could have been anywhere, everything was well done, room layouts same as other Disney rooms but no Disney music or animation. Great adult resort, if we had kids traveling with us they may have been disappointed. Beautiful setting, relaxing waterfront walkway and very quiet.

We stayed in the Cassita 4 building. A short 5-10 minute walk to the lobby and restaurants (conference center too). We had one of the pools right outside our room, it was still quiet there. The room was clean and in good condition. The beds were comfortable. It was great to have a coffee machine in our room. The maid service did a great job daily too.

When checking in we requested a ground level room since one of us was unable to climb stairs in case of emergency. They were happy to retrieve our bags from our original room and bring them to our new room.

The resort is rather large and spread out which was a bit of concern. The resort has 4 Disney park bus stops but they were well located and a short 2-3 minute walk from our room.

We were not thrilled with any of the food we had at the Pepper Market, having one dinner and one breakfast. The food was average, edible but nothing special. We also dined at the Maya Grill which we did enjoy. We had the grande fiesta meal which was much like a fajita with chicken, steak and shrimp with vegetables. This had good flavor, meal was for 2 but really enough for 4.

Room Tip: Cassita 4 was near the Spa, exercise room, pool and salon. Plus the park bus stop was close by too.

Friendly service. Nice rooms. when our shower wasn't turning on they came quickly and fixed it. rooms were clean. It is a little bit of a long walk to get around to eat and our conference but otherwise a fantastic beautiful place.

Room Tip: If you want to be close to the convention center ask for a room at the casitas.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The water in the shower was hot. The room came with a refrigerator. What else could you ask for in a hotel room at the Happiest place on earth! The restaurant at the resort (Pepper Market) heaped out good size servings of food to keep the kids from making us spend a fortune in the park.
Would definitely stay at the Corondao Spring Resort again!

I was skeptical about some of the more negative reviews of this DIsney resort; after all it's DIsney, how bad could it be. Well I have to say most of the comments were accurate. While other reviewers suggested it was clean, our unit in Cabanas was tired and dated. There was absolutely nothing to differentiate staying at this property over the Bate's motel. At over $250 a night due to it being Christmas season, I would have to say it was a gouge. On a positive note, you can t beat the service from staff and the ease of maneuvering around the property on the transportation system. We ate dinner in the sit down Mexican restaurant and it was fine, but the cafeteria style diner was abysmal and should be avoided. I hadn t been to DIsney in a few years and was surprised overall at the poor food quality throughout the park.

Room Tip: We had an accessible room in 6A Cabanas and the mattress was pitiful.
