We stayed her from June 22-June 28. We were in Ranchos 7b. We were close to bus stop 4 and close to the dig site pool. Room was clean and i did not think it was dark like other reviews have said. Many people have complained about the resort being so spread out, it is but it is a beatiful resort with lush landscaping and plenty to look at. The Dig Site pool was a blast for kids and adults! We had a wonderful time at this resort and will definately be staying here again!!!

My first trip to WDW since I was 16-years-old and we stay at Coronado Springs Resort. It was beautiful. A man on our flight, who has two kids who are "cast members" asked me where we were staying. We said Coronado Springs and he said "That is one of the best."

Beautiful architecture, motifs, building designs, etc. The main pool was also amazing as well.

I like the fact that we can get free refills for soft drinks. The problem is it's at Cafe Rix, in the main building, which is a haul depending on where you're staying. It was a 10 minute walk both ways. Not convenient after days of walking at all the parks. That's the last thing you want to do is walk all the way to Cafe Rix for refills. Wonder if that can be improved.

We'll come back if we can. I'd recommend it to others.

A beautiful resort. All the amenities you can think of. The place is HUGE, so be prepared to walk / drive. The good news is that there is a shuttle to take you from around the resort. The buses to the theme parks are clean, well maintained, free, and easy! The room was very nice - we were on the second floor in a king size bed room. Very very nice ... well worth the money for the amenities. Good "grab and go" place for breakfast ... can't remember the name.

The room service that is suppose to clean and restock...did not do this. Our hotel did not have coffee or toilet paper! We had to walk down to a kart and restock our room ourself.

Not accommodating: My mother ate at the ELECTRIC CAFE in EPCOT and a steel ball (looks like it broke off machinery) was in my mom's burger meat. We told the manager, he was apologetic, but their means of compensation was to refund our quick meals. The meals that we weren't going to eat after this experience. The manager asked what hotel we were staying in, so we thought he reported it to the hotel.( The meal plans are ridiculously large- do not buy them.) We complained to the hotel and just wanted a refund for our dining package, we weren't too enthused to be eating their food after the experience. And the hotel wouldn't do it.

Room Tip: Pick a different hotel. DO NOT pay extra for "water front" the rooms are inset, you can...

For my birthday my family and I stayed at Coronado Springs for the first time. We got there at 7 and checked in. The room was nice and spacious and the bathroom separators looks really nice and were helpful. After getting setup in our room we headed out for dinner at The Pepper Market, which is one of the restaurants there. We were in building 7 so it was a pretty long walk but the scenery is beautiful, especially as you're crossing the bridge and the sun is setting with the light reflecting off the lake. When we got to the Pepper Market we were seated promptly and went to get our food. Aside from dinner we went to the Pepper Market for breakfast the next 2 days and every time we ate there the food was delicious. (I'll put up a review of it a little later.)

There are many places to eat in this hotel. Cafe Rix is a quick counter-service restaurant. The Pepper Market is a sit-down quick-service spot. Maya Grill is a sit-down restaurant at the end of the walkway past the other two. Across from the Pepper Market's exit there is Rix Lounge where you can get some alcoholic drinks. There is also 2 quick-service lounges/bars around the resort

There were bus depots all along the perimeter of the resort so when you get dropped off you didn't have to walk all the way from El Centro to your room, which is very helpful when you've spent all day at the parks.

This hotel has 3 pools. The large pool is called "The Dig Site". It has a beautiful replica of a Mayan ruin and a waterslide. Next to the pool there is a great big hot tub (here's a tip, if you want to enjoy it go early, later it gets full and a little awkward). On the other side of the pool there is a whole playground for children as well as an arcade and a ping pong table.

Overall this hotel is beautiful and fun to stay at. Its great fun for children and has great selections restaurants to get some food at. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in this resort Spring Break 2012, and we enjoyed it so much that we are going again in September of 2013. We were too busy at the parks to do much at the motel, but we had no complaints. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms were great, and the beds were as comfortable as a cloud after a full day of walking. The restaurant area was a five minute walk, and quite amazing to sit there by the water while enjoying an outdoor meal. Coronado lives up to the Disney name.
