“Wonderful!”

This is the best Disney hotel we have stayed at. I love the Mardi Grad theme and everything was beautiful. The best part was, food was available late, after the parks closed. At Sassagoula, we munched on pasta, desserts, pizza and beer. The rooms were great and the landscaping was very well done. We will definitely book here next time!

March 2014 ... We ( me , hubby and 12 year old son ) stayed here for two weeks and loved everything about this hotel , The gardens were beauitful , we loved the pool and hot tub. The room ( 1304 building one ) was very clean and was kept clean all though our stay with plenty of soaps and shampoo's etc , we found the hotel to have a great atmosphere , Quiet and very welcoming.. We had the Dining plan which was great , we chose to have most of our meals in the parks , the food court was fine with good chocie of healthy or not so healthy options and the service was great. We took the boat a few times to Downtown disney which was never full , buses came every 20 mins , some buses did drive to the Riverside but only if the bus was a 1/4 full. ( the bus driver pulled over to show us a wild gator , the nearest thing we get in the UK is a heath lizard so i was excited ) This was the first time we had stayed in a Disney hotel , other times we stayed off site .. This hotel is just so lovely we would definitely return.

Our first trip to Disneyworld, had recommendations from friends to stay at this hotel & they were right on! Excellent shuttle service to the parks & loved the boat ride to Downtown Disney for dinner. Rooms were very clean, and liked having the small fridge for water & fruits from the cafeteria. Our room was overlooking the pool area, wish we had more time to spend around the hotel grounds! We will stay here next time we visit for sure!

My mom and I stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. We were in a building close to the food court and pool (Room 3232-great location!). It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional, the buses ran regularly, and the atmosphere was calm. The Riverside was a short walk or boat ride away, and it was much more crowded there...we traveled without kids, and liked the French Quarter because it was quieter and calmer. If you are traveling with kids, there was plenty for them to do here, but it wasn't as bustling as other resorts.

The food was decent-the usual food court choices. The Mickey waffles were really good :) We took the boat to Downtown Disney for dinner one night, and ate in the parks a lot....the table service restaurant is at Riverside-French Quarter was just a food court.

As with any resort, there were times when we had to wait a bit for a bus, and sometimes we had to make the "Riverside Loop," which added a bit of time to the ride. This wasn't an issue and certainly not unique to this resort. The bathroom itself was very tiny, but the sink area was larger and there was a curtain separating it from the rest of the room, so you can move about as you get ready for the day.

We were pleased with our stay and would definitely return to this resort.

We chose French Quarter for our first Disney trip. We loved it! the service was great and everything being so close in the area really helped with our 4yr! We are returning in December 2014 and will once again be staying at the French Quarter

First... the ONLY good news... our rooms were very close to the restaurant which made getting coffee in the morning a breeze. That worked out great.

Now... the rest

I called the phone # I was instructed to do so that we could have 2 rooms right next to each other. That info was "confirmed" by the lady on the phone who was a 3rd party vendor. I found out that info after the fact.

So when we checked in I was in building 1 and the other party in building 4. Hmmmm.. I think I wasted my time with my confirmation call. Appears that this 3rd party does not speak directly to the hotel. So lesson learned.. if u need any special arrangement do not stay here.

The good news for us was that it did work out after working with the front desk. Yes AFTER I was totally aggravated and annoyed.

Also the room should have been cleaned better. The in room hair dryer and tissue dispenser had not been dusted in months. How do I know this because of the enormous dust build up. Yuck.. And there was a fuzz of some sort on the floor when we arrived and the next day after housekeeping was there it was STILL there. So much for vacuuming the room.

Plus the bathroom light was sooooo dim

I kept my flip flops on the entire time as I walked on the rug because who knows what lurks

I say clean up your act ... both in the room and reservations. For me you fell short... Very disappointed in this property associated with Disney.

Room Tip: Go somewhere elswe..

We had the best experience during our recent stay. Check in was a breeze. We arrived a little after noon but were able to access our room right away. We had a corner unit across from the Hospitality house which was great because of the easy access to everything.

The room was perfect for just the two of us. We were able to buy some snacks and drinks to keep in the room.

We had an easy time finding pool chairs and it was never too crowded or over run with kids. The service we received was amazing.

The property is quiet and peaceful but not boring. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to purchase a Disney timeshare in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the hospitality house
