stayed from october 14-20.. we had a riverview room, and while the view was nice.. you only had the view when you were out on the walkway... so it was not worth the money to me... the resort was small.. which i found was a nice change from all the walking in the parks.. the grounds were clean and well kept.. and the pool was a nice place to unwind after running around all day.. the restauraunt was better than i expected also.. and all the employees were friendly and helpful... plus the riverboat to downtown disney is much better than any of the busrides... i would reccomend this resort to anyone considering a moderate resort... although the bus service left alot to be desired..

Had nice, clean comfortable beds to sleep in after a busy day in the park. Location was close to places to eat and shop. I felt safe and loved how quite it was. The rooms were spacious and conveniently located.

I recently stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter, January 25- January 31. The staff or "cast members" were the best I've seen of any hotel or resort so far. Very friendly, always in an upbeat mood, an ready to help at any time of the day or night. I stayed in room 7234, the hotel was clean, it has an inviting atmosphere, the hotel room was clean all through out. The only issues I had with the room was my bed comforter didn't look very clean once it was pulled back to show the white side you sleep on, so I requested another blanket for my stay an the hotel was quick to assist in that matter. Also my particular bed was very hard, an was not at all comfortable. I did not complain about this, as I was on vacation an didn't want to have to switch rooms, or complain. The hotel does not have full room service. It only offers delivery of pizza which ends at 12am, and that's it. The hotel has excellent bus service which runs every 20 minutes to all parks, as well as Downtown Disney. There is also a water taxi (a ferry) which runs every 20 minutes as well up until 4:30pm then it runs every 10 minutes, and both forms of transportation from this hotel is included with your stay. The hotel has an excellent pool area for children an adults alike. There is a walkup full service bar in the pool area, water slides, an enough seating for many guests. Overall this hotel was average, and it is a very family friendly atmosphere that everyone from children to adults will love, and you will leave with something to talk about, and memories to last a lifetime.

Room Tip: Any room beyond building 4 is a bit of a walk, if at all possible request a closer room when booking or when you get there.

The room was good quality with plenty of closet space slighly above average room size, bathroom was very large with lots of storage for toiletries, 32" Flatscreen TV and two comfprtable beds. The customer service was top notch and to my surprise was quiet at night. Pool was large enough never felt crowded plenty of towels and chairs to relax, water was heated to 73 degrees and activities for the kids. The bus service was very good most of the time only waiting less than 10 minutes and off to the parks we went. Had more of an adult feel which I wanted even though we had a five year old. They had an eatery (not a restaurant) onsite, a bar with live Jazz music nightly. If you want a small Disney Hotel that gives you top service and ease of getting around and only one bus station to go to than this will fill the bill.

Room Tip: Buildings 2 and 3 closest to lobby, pool and bus station

Recently stayed here for one night and was very impressed by the resort as a whole. Due to the smaller size of the resort, all amenities were very easily reachable. The boat to downtown Disney was convenient and a nice change from taking a bus. The evening entertainment in the lounge was great! The room was a nice size and very clean. We were in building two and were a short stroll to the food court, across from the pool and next to the boat dock.
