Fantastic stay. Stayed on the Concierge level. Well worth every penny. Staff was wonderful and responded to every question and request. Pools are fantastic! Self serve laundry also available. 5 minute walk to Epcot and/or ride the boat shuttle to Epcot or Hollywood. Bus shuttles to Magic Kingdom and other parks run every 20 minutes. Great fun!!

My family of five enjoyed our very recent stay at Beach Club (June 2 to June 7). We utilized the club level and found our room to be very good for our needs. In fact, it would be a room I would request again in future stays. The club level was great, we enjoyed being able to grab a quick bite after swimming or before bed. We also enjoyed the occasional beer and/or glass of wine. However, some have complained on TripAdvisor that there isn't enough to eat. Truthfully, it isn't a restaurant and I believe shouldn't be used as such. I noticed a number of people who filled their plates multiple times or who were always in the club lounge eating. You are five minutes away from EPCOT, if you want food go there and eat or maybe just make a reservation at a restaurant!

Although the hotel was near capacity, it never felt overcrowded, we could always find a spot at the pool.

As stated in previous reviews, Cape May is a bit overrated, while Beaches and Cream is a must do. A word to the wise, Beaches and Cream is tough to get into (very small), so go early or be prepared to wait for a table. However, they do have take out ice cream, but the grill food is not to be missed.

Also, a number of people on TripAdvisor have stated the resort looked "tired" and "not taken care of." I found this to be far from the case, as I noticed multiple people painting hallways and stairwells, carpets being routinely cleaned, and management consistently looking over the standards of the building. Further, the walls are a bit thin, but if people were considerate of others, this issue would be resolved in a easy manner.

We loved our stay and would return in the future.

Room Tip: Spend the money and stay on the club level. Don't try to go cheap at the Beach Club, that is wh...

This was our first stay at the Beach Club. It was wonderful. The biggest advantage of staying in this resort is the location. You are in walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Of course, you can always take the ferry to either as well. In addition, you can get to the Boardwalk with ease. However, you don't have the noise and traffic of staying at the Boardwalk. Plus, the restaurant choices and the pool are amazing. Bus service was very fast and with minimal crowds.

We accidentally booked a Club Level room on the 5th floor. We felt like celebrities all week. Club Level guests get to enjoy concierge service all day. Two Disney cast members will greet you as soon as you step out of the elevator. Only Club Level guests can get to the 5th floor. You also get to enjoy the Stone Harbor Club lounge. Here you can get food, snacks, breakfast, drinks, desserts, and goodies. It was great!

The room is a typical Disney Deluxe room. The views are great on the beach side. The back side overlooks the entrance. All the amenities are what you expect at a Disney property.

The room was very clean. Another perk of being on Club Level is you get to pick your room cleaning time. That was very convenient. They have turn down service as well. The only issue we had was that there was a roach in the bathroom. We didn't even report it. Stuff happens.

This is a great resort! We will stay here again.

Room Tip: Select the Club Level. It is worth it.

The location of the Beach Club allows walking to Epcot and boating to Hollywood Studios. You only take the busses to Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. This is great if you don't want to rent a car. The pool is so great you can skip the water parks on your first visit. The staff was amazing! Everyone we encountered was more than helpful. The restaurants are fantastic and I would highly recommend Cape May for both the character breakfast AND the seafood buffet.

I had stayed at the Beach Club on business before and thought it was going to be a great place for our family vacation. I was wrong. The room we were in was tired, not well taken care of and not at all worth the price tag. I’m sure the hotel was at capacity because we were almost at the end of the incredibly long hallway, just a few rooms away from The Yacht Club. The furniture was scuffed up and doors no longer aligned or closed nicely. The fixtures in the bathrooms were worn-out and had things like missing screws or was dented or damaged in some way, and the beds were indented from the overuse. The room smelled a little like mildew which I’m sure is an issue in general for a hot, humid location that isn’t meticulously cared for. The safe is incredibly tiny and is just an in wall safe so it is about 4” deep. A laptop will not fit in it. My camera barely fit in it, and you will need to carry around an actual key for it. Maybe I had on rose colored glasses before or didn’t pay attention to those things on business, but I definitely noticed this trip. This is a very popular resort for families and children so it was crowded and noisy every place we went when we were there. The arcade, the pool, the hotel’s restaurant, the gift shop, the check-in etc. were all crowded and stressful.

The pro for the Beach Club is its location. It’s a 5 minute walk to the World Showcase entrance at Epcot, and you can walk right onto the Boardwalk which has additional restaurants, gift shops, and games (about 15-20 minutes to circle it by foot), and it’s about a 10-15 minute boat ride from the boat dock to Hollywood Studios. Also, the self-parking is very easy and not too far compared to other hotels. It also has a very fun sandy bottom pool that is very extensive which is why it is so popular with families. The pool is shared with The Yacht Club so if you stay at the Yacht Club, you can also use the pool area.

What was the last straw for me though was the level of service. I thought the staff was short, and inhospitable, and had a lot of room for improvement. Even after I did the online check-in, it took about 30-45 minutes to check in. I did not think this felt like a 4 star or luxury property and it left me pretty disappointed with our decision to stay there. I will be trying another Disney hotel on our next trip.

My family absolutely loves this resort. Sure it shows its age in some areas, but it is still one of our favorites.

Pro's:
- Location, Location, Location...the Boardwalk is an absolutely fun place to stay on...very relaxing...love the simple walk to Epcot (5-10 minutes) and to Hollywood Studios (15-20 minutes)...our walk to Hollywood Studios (with stroller and three kids) was actually faster than the boat the rest of our family took to the park...
- the pool area is probably the best of any of the Disney resorts we stayed at....even in February the pool stayed warm enough to swim in low 70's weather...
- room was clean and welcoming...appreciate the microwave and refrigerator to keep breakfast things and snacks in...
- many eating options right there at the resort, including a Panera Bread like counter service...really enjoyed grabbing a sandwich and soup with the kids and eating in the sun room area...

Con's:
- bus system always seemed pretty clogged and full...
- bathroom decor was a bit outdated for a Disney property, but it worked...

The area is asome, with views on the lake and the boardwalk.
The room was large and the bed quite confortable.
The pool area wsa quite good, with a variety of pools, including 2 spas.
The wifi signal very good al over the hotel, and with a decent speed.
My room however was at the very end of two never ending corridoes, and it took a long time to get in and out of the hotel each time. I thik some alternatve stairs are needed to avoid all this walk.
