Honestly, I can go on about how great of a customer service this hotel has from the get go. Every single associate had a smile on their face and was genuinely there to assist us.

One person I would like to thank is front desk associate Imee Marquez. She assisted us with great service and when we had issues with our door, she walked with me to try and fix it. She also made sure security came by and assisted in reprogramming our doors. She is a great asset to this property and I'm sure she leaves great first impressions to many guests of this hotel.

Lets not forget the awesome bell staff and Remo from High Velocity bar. Very helpful and friendly associates.

The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is that I wish they provided their guests with a Segway like the Security so we can get ice down the hallway quicker. Hahah.

Thank you!

The property is very close to Disney. It is beautiful and the pools, slides, and gym are great. However, like many large hotels it is very inconvenient to self park, and there are high parking fees either self park or valet and daily resort fees. Disney moderate resorts would offer a better value. Not a large selection of value dining for families with young children. The elevator ride is spectacular.

The hotel has the wow factor as you drive up its drive way. Once we managed to find out where we were supposed to park, we then waited for a shuttle bus to take us and our luggage to the main reception area. The reception area does take your breath away. The hotel is on a huge scale and is a lot to take in. Staff at the reception were lovely and very helpful seen as it was 2am when we checked in. We were on our honeymoon and had been upgraded to a king size room with views of the Disney fireworks every night around 9pm, we were not charged any extra for this. The room was huge, built in big wardrobe, big bathroom, large plasma telly. There was a free safe. There was a mini bar fridge and tray with chocolate, nuts and crisps. As all mini bars it was expensive. Wi-Fi in the reception area and onsite star bucks was free. In the comfort of your room it was $16.99 approx. per 24hrs. The pool area was clean and amazing. Pool bar did lovely food and cocktails but again very expensive. we had room service one night and it was like been in one of the films you see, loved it well worth the money.
We stayed from 22nd Dec 2013- 5th Jan 2014, and they were hosting some sort of American all stars thing. We were not told about this and it went from busy to just crazy!! On our floor we had some of the kids that were competing in the all stars and we were kept awake from doors slamming, kids running up and down the corridor and just plain noise!!. It went on for about 4 nights so please be aware when booking what events they have going on.
The hotel overall was amazing but we do not think it is worth its 5 star rating compared to some of the other hotels we had looked at in the area.
If you have a car beware car parking charges are added to your bill and they are not all that cheap.

Room Tip: We had a room that you could see Disney fireworks every night.

Teresa in the lobby bar went out her way to get my favorite belgian beer. They ran out at the bar and she initiated a hunt to locate another bottle. Great service and a very sincere and kind person. Well done.

Stayed here with the family for a few days over Christmas. My 3 boys loved the water slides and enormous pool. They were entertained all day by the legos in the pool area and hourly "resort activities" such as petting an aligator, making Christmas decorations and playing organized pool games. Honestly, it was better and more relaxing than being in the craziness of Disney nearby. Our au pair said it was the "most amazing place she'd ever been."' While I wouldn't go that far, it is a nice property. The rooms are very nice - we had 2 adjoining rooms wiht pool view. It is a very large hotel so the crowds can be a bit daunting. There is a starbucks in the lobby, but the wait there in morning for coffee is quite long. I guess people figure its better than getting a $9 room service coffee or an even more expensive breakfast in the restaurant. Since there is valet parking and nothing in walking distance, you are kind of trapped at the hotel unless you pay and wait to get your car out to drive someplace. Therefore, whatever "cheap" options exist for food in this palce get mobbed pretty quickly.

Room Tip: get a pool view

My husband & I enjoyed a 2 day stay at the Marriott Orlando World Resort in January, 2014. We had a lovely room facing the pool on the 12th floor. As it was our 20th anniversary, my husband arranged to have 2 flower arrangements sent to our room. Gary V. Boyer greeted us outside, welcoming us to the Marriott. He also delivered our flowers to our room. One spray of orchids fell out of the arrangement onto the floor and under his feet as he was walking in with it. He was stunned and extremely apologetic. We told him that if was OK and if that was the worst thing that was going to happen to him today, that it was going to be a good day. He relaxed a little, but still apologetic as he brought in the 2nd flower arrangement. He further explained the Marriott hotel and our room to us and offered the beautiful view it had for the Disney World fireworks at 9:00pm. When we arrived back, in time to watch the fireworks, we found a bottle of champagne and a beautiful tray of chocolate covered strawberries with a kind note wishing us "Happy Anniversary". Now, we were stunned at how kind he was! He did not have to do that! In our opinion, he went "over the top". When we remember our 20th anniversary, our trip to this Marriott resort and Disney World, we will also always remember him and his kindness.
Thank you Gary,
Audrey & Chuck S.

Room Tip: Get a Pool view room high enough to see the fireworks from Disney World 9:00 pm daily.

Brilliant service, very helpful staff, especially Joel at the main reception. Would come back again. Highly recommended. Joel helped me with room, complementary upgrade, had trouble with my TV, which was sorted straightaway. Rooms were very nice, great room service.
