Fantastic visit to these lovely gardens. We spent several hot hours here with some shade and the 30 minute museum visit.
The only negative comment would be there are no facilities for drinks or snacks. Difficult in the heat, despite the drinking fountains.

We love touring botanical gardens around the country. This place was a nice surprise. Well put together with a nice tour of the plantation house. Cost is 10 dollars a person.

Came here during one of their markets where people were selling garden supplies, plants, and had all sorts of lovely stands with delicious cucumber basil lemonade. Had a wonderful time wondering through, taking photos (lots of great opps for photogs), checking out different wildlife and having a great time. I walked around for good 3 hours and loved every minute of it. Bring lots of sunscreen and get lost in these lovely gardens!

Especially wonderful rose gardens. Gardenias in bloom with overwhelming fragrance. The property is so large we got lost - and that's a good thing. Guided tour of the smallish, but interesting house on the property where the Leu's lived.

This was a nice surprise for me to find such a hidden gem so close to Orlando. If you go north from Orlando anyway, just take the short sidestep from the 4 (about 10 min) and treat yourself to a very nice 2-3 hours of time.

The garden is split into several subgardens, one of them a very big rosegarden which at this time looks wonderful with dozens of different species blossoming, there is a nice butterfly garden with literally hundreds of nice butterflies enjoying the beautiful flowers and some more (citrus, river).

A nice viewing platform gives a nice view over the lake (you may find some turtles) and there are lots of plants and nice decorations to be discovered.

Do not miss a tour of the house, it is included in the entry fee of 10 $ anyway and the one we had was both very funny and educating. Easy walking and with a lot of trees also a lot of shade so no need to worry about overexercising in the sun.
