“Well worth a Visit”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

This is a lovely place to spend a couple of hours, strolling through the gardens and visiting the lovely home that has many of the original furnishings. The rose garden is very spectacular, and the whole place is a great retreat from the business and theme parks of Orlando.

“A Hidden Gem”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Peaceful and beautiful is how I describe this great botanical garden. Went to Disney yesterday and this was a much less stressful day. Even the kids here were happy and laughing and not hot tired and crying like at Disney. Great lake with large turtles, fish and birds. Great house tour as well. Top it off with lunch down the street at Bikes, Beans & Bourdoux, excellent lunch.

“Beautiful day”

50 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Winding pathways for you to wander. Tour the Leu House Museum, on the grounds. A knowledgeable guide will give you a tour and share the history of the home and gardens.

“The Best Part of my Orlando Vacation”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

I am so glad I carved time away from the parks for this beautiful, peaceful, refreshing experience. The paths throughout the gardens are easy to navigate. At first the size of the gardens is overwhelming but you quickly realize that none of the paths is too long. There are benches along the way so you can rest or just pause to take in the beauty. The flowers are gorgeous. The house tour was fascinating. I spent 3 hours in the gardens and wished I could have stayed longer.

“Nice botanic garden in Orlando”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

The Lieu Gardens are a sprwaling 49 acres with footpaths leading through various areas (tropical, Camillas, butterfly garden, etc). A nice place to unwind and stroll around for a couple of hours after the hectic attractions of Orlando. There is also a guided tour of the historic home on the property. We saw numerous turtles and birds at the lakeside, but did not spot the resident alligator. Well worth the admission price.
