“Off the beaten path and SO worth it”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Beautiful place! Very unique and so worth the stop off the beaten Orlando path. If you are in Orlando and wantto get away from the Disney scene, go here! The price is great, $10. We spent a couple of hours here and could have spend more but wanted to get to the beach.

“Excellent Garden Experience”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

We enoy visiting the gardens in different cities, and the Leu Gardens came to our attention on a recent visit to Orlando. Even on a hot day it had plenty of shaded areas to walk through. The highlight of the tour, though, had to be the tour of the house/museum. The docent was very enthusiastic and interested in what she was talking about - and it showed. We learned quite a bit about the previous owners, and the house had some very interesting items from years ago that would keep anyone - even youngsters - focused.
The gardens were nice, and from the different times that things were in bloom it seemed that any time of year would be worth the visit. We weren't able to tour the entire grounds, but what we saw was very nice and the different areas were distinct enough to make you feel like you were in very different parts of the country, from a tropical stream garden, to a rose garden...I think there were at least ten different areas to walk through.
Well worth the visit!

“A great way to spend the day.”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

This place was beautiful! The gardens were well tended and you could tell the love that went into creating this place. It was such a peaceful rest from all the "magic" of Disney. We took a tour of the house, which was interesting, and learned about the former owners. There were some very interesting plants and I loved the butterfly and vegetable garden! I got inspired to "fossil" my sidewalk and I learned the proper way to prune a weeping mulberry. It wasn't crowded at all, which made it really romantic and you can't beat the price. If you love gardening or beautiful plants, you will really enjoy this place. Be warned, you could easily spend an entire day there. You will not want to leave, I will definately go back.

“An oasis of peace in a busy city”
Reviewed May 27, 2013 via mobile

This place is fantastic a real hidden gem, you feel at peace as soon as you arrive. The plants and gardens are great and very well kept. The 30 minute tour of the house is amazing and makes you want to live there. Can't believe there is so much for so little admission fee.

“A Great Find”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

We never knew this place existed, until a cousin who was holidaying with us said it was well worth a visit an she was absolutely right. It is a haven of peacefulness in the metropolis of Orlando and gives a break from the busy theme parks. Beautiful gardens and butterflies when we visited and don't forget to take the tour of the historic house.
