Everything about the resort was wonderful, except for the restaraunt (Garden Grille). Food at buffet was terrible and waitress service was awful. Stayed for over a week but gave up on eating breakfast there after two tries. They were seemingly incapable for handling the small crowds that came there every morning. Lesson: Use the fast service counters, get to the parks and eat a few snacks while you are there. While the on-site spa is very awkward in lay-out, it is very good in the services they provide and at a reasonable price. If you have the military affiliation to use this resort, you should - just carefully consider your breakfast options.

I should have read some reviews before coming here. I wanna go home, this place is beautiful but not everything is clicking. Hate the fact u have to pay for breakfast, u have to pay or parking also, don't know but im just not feeling this place.

Shades of Green Resort right across from the Polynesian Resort very close to The Magic Kingdom. If your Military connected, Widow etc you have to stay here.
My sister and I spent 7 days at this resort. Loved staying Here. We were in room 208 looking out at the Golf Course this is on the main level. A bit of a walk but oh so quiet. Our room was 2 Queen beds with a sofa, table and chairs, patio, 2 sink bath room. Very nice and very clean. What is so neat, there is a bus that leaves every 20 min to take you to the transportation Center just 10 minutes away. Catch the monorail to the part of your choice. There is also a bus that takes you to Universal but you need to make reservations.
Oh yes you can purchase all of your park tickets here also at a good discount. This resort is a must stay. Make sure you ask where the bus pick up is at Check in... and the store just inside of the bus pick up has the best value on Water and some good eats.
