I usually start by saying I am going to keep things short but then minutes later I have written a book! So in my true fashion here it is…

CHECK IN – No problems. Quick and easy. I was asked did I make any previous room preferences. I said no. Please note, if you are asked this you may want to request a room that is NOT facing the busy and loud street side. This is a major intersection and you can hear the traffic at all times of the day and night. My room was 1521.

THE ROOM - The rooms were nice. The bed was comfy. I don’t really have any complaints. The balcony was small and the window to it was really dirty, maybe from hard water stains, but all in all there were no major issues with the aesthetics. There is a fridge available, but as usual it does not get very cold.

THE POOL – there are 2 pools which is very convenient. One of the pools goes to just over six feet which is a rare find. There is a towel station and cabanas are available. There is a pool café where you can get food and drinks which is another added value.

THE LOBBY – the set up for the lobby is very welcoming. There is a Marketplace where you can purchase food, drinks, snacks and of course Starbucks. You can also order small simple sandwiches and Panini’s. The chicken soup was good after a swim and lots of alcohol! There is a business center that has up to date computers, printers, and fax. There is a restaurant located just off side of the check in area.

THE GROUNDS – Overall the hotel is a good purchase for the price I paid. ($119 with resort fees waived per day) There are plenty of ballrooms for events, the grounds were kept clean, and the concierge, valet and staff were friendly. The normal cost per night may be more than what I paid. I do think they need to update the balcony. You can tell the emblems were once something else.

THE PROS – Large room, room service, Marketplace, 2 large pools, restaurants, business center. You have the option to be eco-friendly and not get your bed linens changed nightly. If you choose to do so, you will be given a $5 voucher or 500 SPG points. The location is near plenty of restaurants without having to get into your car and drive.

THE CONS – Parking is $10 per day. Resort fee is $16.95 per day and I have no idea what this includes and if it’s worth it. Wifi is not free.

Room Tip: Choose a room that is not facing the main street side.

My family arrived to the hotel on June 2 to an event that was not suitable for my children. we booked through Priceline and were told there was not much they could do because it was a Priceline room. Long story short, the manager, Sean, extended himself to have us moved to another location. Sean provided the quality of service we were accustomed to from the Sheraton. Thanks Sean and Sheraton!

My family stayed one night in this hotel as part of a short trip to the Magic Kingdom. The one major negative for us was that rooms had outdoor access versus interior hallway access which didn't feel as safe though the overall area is ok. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was a nice perk. The room was recently upgraded and clean.

We were there for a huge event and all the staff were cheerful and sometimes downright perky LOL. They were there when you needed them and not when you didn't, it was a perfect weekend and the hotal was beautiful and clean and the bed was amazing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Orlando area.

Room Tip: Pool view was superb. Get the Egg and sausage burrito, it was huge and very delicious!

We booked on Priceline and I was a little nervous when we got this hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We received a great pool view room and they gave us the adjoining rooms we'd requested. The staff was amazing, making sure we received the crib and microwave we needed. I didn't like the 10 charge for a microwave, which most hotels of this quality typically provide for free. However, we were overall pleased with our stay.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, the service we received by the staff was great, all staff we came in contact with were friendly and accommodating, and the pool area was beautiful, not to mention the poolside bar service we received. This is a great place to stay with the family. The kids loved making the smore's by the outside pit, early evening. Definitely, a nice place to stay.
