Arriving at WDW we needed a quick drink and lunch. Wondered why the Wave was empty at lunchtime. Thankfully, we decided to split a $14.99 burger. It was cooked properly (medium rare), but was served with 5 potato wedges. Not sure why such limited wedge. But it satisfied us. Not so sure about the.other couple next to us in an empty bar, who had to

We decided to have breakfast here on our last day of our vacation.

We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server came to our table and gave us a weird look. Like if she thought we were gonna eat and walk away with out paying. Or as if we didn't have any money.

She offered us coffee and we said yes. Then she mentioned that for $20 the buffet was the best option. Which for us was not an option.

I order the MultiGrain French toast and the portion was a joke. Just a slice and a half of toast and two chicken sausages.

My friend had the omelette with breakfast potatoes that looked boring. She only stopped to check on us once and when we were done we asked for our check to another server. There was only 3 parties in the entire restaurant.

We paid about $30-40 for that breakfast.

What a great buffet! We visited twice on our recent trip. The breakfast buffet is 19.99 per person and worth every penny. Many items to choose from and all very fresh. There was a pecan butter which was amazing on toast. Some of my other favorite items were the fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, strawberries, omlet of the day, hash browns, and bacon.

We've been Disney World passholders for a number of years now and have eaten at a lot of the WDW restaurants, but never The Wave. So we walked over to the Contemporary after a day at the Magic Kingdom and had dinner at The Wave. We are glad we did - this was one of the best meals we've had on WDW property in a while. Our waiter was excellent - friend, informative, super helpful and attentive. My wife and I both ordered the Herb-Salt Seasoned Beef Tenderloin. We order steaks medium-rare, but our server said he'd submit them as rare because he knows how the kitchen works - he was right. Our kids had the grilled fish and petite filet child meals. All of our food was great. The kids got dessert with their meals so my wife and I shared the Creamy Indulgence Trio. Nothing spectacular, but it was good too. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner at The Wave. I would have to say it's probably in our top 5 list of WDW restaurants - we'll be back for sure.

Stopped in here during a day of "resort hopping" and looking at Christmas decorations. We were on our way to MK for the Christmas party and really wanted to have a glass of wine and a light bite, and this worked out perfectly. The interior is clean and modern, with a very interesting walkway into the space. We sat at the bar and Danielle was the bartender. It was pretty slow at this off-time (around 3 PM), but that worked out perfectly because we got to chat with her quite a bit, and had such a nice conversation that we actually stayed longer than planned.

They had a good wine list at reasonable prices. The restaurant menu was unavailable at that time as they were in between meal service, but we were able to order off of the bar menu and had soft pretzels and a flatbread. The pretzels with a spicy cream cheese dip were so good that we actually ordered a second order of them!!! Who knew pretzels could be so yummy? The flatbread was thin and crispy and had a strong basil flavor. We regretted not having more time on this trip to return for dinner off of the regular menu, but have added it to our list of places we definitely plan to return to, in great part to the friendly bartender, who made it a truly memorable experience.
