We got a last minute reservation and it was a lucky break. We has the beef tenderloin and the lamb and they were both great. Kids ate everything on their plates as well.
We might come back even on this trip.

“Great stop for a cocktail on way to MK!”
Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

We were staying at the Contemporary and popped into the Wave one night around 5:00pm with out 2 year old on our way to a night visit to the Magic Kingdom. It's on the first floor so was convenient as we were going to walk. We sat in a great dark, blue-tinted lounge area outside the bar with comfortable banquettes and ottomen (and a tv playing disney cartoons!) Ordered a few snacks from a nice bar menu (hot pretzel, edamame, flatbread) and drinks and we were off! Huge wine selection here apparently - this is what the waiter told me and there is a big wine cellar behind the bar. The lounge was empty when we got there and by the time we left every seat was filled with people waiting for their reservations so it must be a popular place (tons of kids too). I'm not sure I'd return for a full dinner (would probably try for California Grill instead) but will definitely go again for a cocktail pit stop on the way out the door!

“Ask for Giselle”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

They put back ugly curtains (see previous review) but as always we maintain the best hidden treasure at Disney, we just keep going back. Food seemed to be prepared with love, different healthy choices, please stay away so we can keep snagging available reservations! :)

“Great experience”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

One of the many eateries we visited on our vacation and I have to say the service here was the best Disney had to offer. The waiter was a pro and handled our table well. While not extensive, the menu was rich in variety and gourmet delight with the added hook of using local ingredients grown or raised in the Orlando area. I ordered a steak that was cooked to order and very tender. All food was presented well and, again, the service was off the charts. On the first floor of the Contemporary it is off the beaten trail but you should go out of your way to find it.
