“No reservations? No problem!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We were able to walk right up for lunch and be seated right away, feel this place is still a bit undiscovered. Absolutely loved our lunch, particularly the chicken pot pie soup and the buffalo burger cooked to perfection. The dessert trio was also great. Atmosphere fit the Contemporary resort well and service was exceptional. We wanted to have lunch there again the next day (Saturday) but found that we couldn't park at the Contemporary without a reservation due to all the arriving guests that day. So, the restaurant is easy to visit without reservations, but if you need to park, go on a weekday.

“Comfortable and calm”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

A calm, quiet and comfortable restaurant at Disney World is hard to come by! We stayed at Bay Lake Towers and ate brunch and dinner at the Wave almost every day. We tried a lot of other restaurants at Disney World but kept coming back here for the good food, great service, and no loud music! The food is expensive, but no more so than all the other restaurants at Disney. We were on a family food plan so it was a no-brainer to come here every day. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet and fish entrees.

“Pretty decent, REALLY pricey for diner”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Dinner was average tasting. I had the fish of the day...a little tasty but mostly unseasoned and not satisfying. The bad part, very pricey for average. I don't mind paying for delicious, but for expensive and average, it's not worth it for dinner. At breakfast, I had the sweet potato pancakes and hubby and kids had buffet. Very good breakfast and decent price. Service was always good. See my Contempo Cafe review for my favorite dinner entree.

“Delicious. Best crab cakes I've ever had. Seriously.”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

First the guest. My wife and I and our three daughters (6,8,15) we enjoyed the entire meal.

The highlight had to be the crab cakes. WOW! I'm a bit of a crab cake connoisseur, and I also had crab cakes on this trip at Narrcossee's over at Grand Floridian as well (which were good, but not as good).

The crab cakes were baked but first pan seared, quickly, for a perfect, thin crust which added amazing flavor. The size may be deceiving, they are small but they are basically 99.9% crab. Virtually no filler. My wife ordered them and was equally as pleased with them as well. Amazing.

For entrees I we had a variety of fish and steaks from the children to the adults. Each was properly prepared and executed and delicious.

We were running late for the Christmas party at MK so dessert was a sampler to go, which my wife ran up to our room and put in the fridge while I was paying the bill.

We had a great meal and would return without hesitation.

For those on the dining plan, this location is one TS credit which makes it one of the best values on property.

Reviewed March 11, 2013

First off let me say this restaurant I have eaten at 4 seperate occasions. Evertything is organic and delicious. This is a great place for breakfast with amazing sweet potato pancakes. Lunch I love the vegitarian stew and the vegitarian cuban is great. The portion are small but the quality is superb, great fresh pressed coffee at your table. The breakfast buffet is so fresh with many unique items. Great smoothies too. Great service.
