“Great food”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We had reservations for 6:30 pm and were seated almost immediately. The service was fairly quick. The oven roasted chicken was wonderful. We were done in good time to enjoy the fireworks at Magic Kingdom at 8 pm.

“Just alright”
Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

The service was just ok and the place was expensive. Two adults and two children were $116 - not sure I'd eat here again

“Won't be back”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

This was the fifth time we have eaten at The Wave. We loved it the first four times but this visit was absolutely terrible. Service was so slow. We waited over an hour for our meals with three kids and my father in law who is diabetic. Not acceptable for those prices. And the food is not so good any more. Do not waste your time and money here any more!

“Good choice for a quiet table service lunch outside of the parks.”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

We enjoyed a quiet lunch here. It's a nice way to take a break from the parks, and close enough to get back to MK easily. 3 of us had the bison burger and it was the best burger all of us had had in a while. 1 of us tried the reuben and gave it a thumbs down. Everything else was excellent.

“Excellent Meal, Service, and Ambiance”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

I had a hard time deciding on this restaurant when making reservations for our three night stay last weekend. Reviews and recommendations were mostly great, but some were on the other spectrum. It fit in our schedule for that day, as we wanted to do Magic Kingdom and still enjoy Wishes. I made reservations at 6:30. We arrived around 5;45 and in need of a relaxing drink at the bar. I don't recall our bartender's name, but he deserves high rewards. He was attentive and sociable. I started with a cool and refreshing mojito (they are had to get in Wisconsin, and especially in winter). Ahhhhh. However, I enjoy wine with dinner, so we started looking at the wine menu. He immediately asked what I like, and had us try two different wines he thougth we might enjoy. We ended up sharing a wine flight.

We checked in at the desk and were called for our table early, about 6;15. Service was a bit more casual here than our other dining choices that weekend (Bluezoo and Flying Fish) but it was right up our alley. Our bottle of wine arrived (most wines here are screw cap) and we put our food order in. There were so many things on the menu that we could have eaten, it was a touch decision.

We decided on the fish tacos for an appetizer and they were DE-licious! I will admit that it was kind of nice to enjoy "real" food instead of some of the foo foo stuff we had have (OK, Iike that too!). Our entrees consisted of the sustainable fish and hubby had a steak. We both loved our entrees! We finished up with the Creamy Indulgance desert which was light and just the right amount.

As far as time went, we just made it back to Magic Kingdom with about 5 min to spare before Wishes started. We didnt' get as close to the castle as we thought we could, but we still had a wonderful spot to watch the fireworks. We were originally told that we should be able to watch the fireworks from a rooftop balcony at the contemporary, but the bartender told us that it was closed for remodeling.

We have to say, this was our most enjoyable dinner experience this trip. And, it was also the most reasonable at $150 with wine ($35) and tip. We have no problem recommending this place, and will hopefully return on a future Disney trip.
