While I've never been impressed with the 'exciting' atmosphere or the so-so customer service, the fresh Tex Mex style at Tijuana Flats was typically satisfying and good value for the money. Unfortunately, it's taken a turn for the worse. While raising prices, they've cut down on side portions and they're apparently trying to save energy costs as I've experienced lukewarm temperature food on more than one occasion. Also, when I pay over $10.00 for counter service meal & drink, I don't expect to get the tiniest side servings you've ever seen; the refried beans must have been painted on the plate with a brush; no more than a tablespoon worth. The Tijuana Flats management need to start focusing on quality and value, and less on their 'manifesto' and hip alternative marketing.
