“A day of wonderful calm in a crazy busy holiday”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

We have been to Discovery Cove twice and I would go back every time. Although it is an all inclusive resort and the food is amazing, we were so busy both times that we only managed to squeeze lunch in. We arrived at 8am and were pretty much kicked out (very nicely). The staff are great, the dolphins are fab, the snorkelling is brilliant especially if you are a beginner and a bit apprehensive. Highly recommended.

“Beyond your imagination”
Reviewed June 24, 2014 via mobile

Defiantly a place not to miss whilst in orlando. It gets overlooked and people opt for Sea World. This is the much smaller sister park but excellent value all in price. All food and drink is included and you get free roam of the park. Sunbathing on the beach, floating down the lazy river, snorkelling with mantas, birds of paradise, swimming with dolphins, otters, it is a truly magical place and shows perfectly how well all the animals are looked after. Also like the fact you have to book to ensure the animals aren't overwhelmed by visitors in one day.

“The Perfect Day!”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

We rented a cabana. (Well worth it, for those of you spending the day!)

This is an all inclusive attraction. So everything from breakfast to lunch to snacks to drinks are served during the day.

Yes, I know the price tag, might be pretty expensive for some. But it is totally worth it. A true way to relax. And you will really fell like you are in another world. One of tropical perfection for the whole day.

(You will also get a few days at Sea World, with the price)
If you have ever wanted "A PERFECT DAY", this is how you have one....and this is it.

Perfect for couples, or for families.

We decided to visit Discovery Cove and it was so much fun! The best part of course was that we chose to swim and interact with the dolphins. It really was worth the extra money. When you check in you will be given a dolphin swim time and just a few minutes before your scheduled time you will head to one of the tiki like huts for a brief introduction which explains exactly how your dolphin swim will go. After that you go into your assigned cove with the dolphin trainers and meet the dolphin! You get to touch and feed the dolphin and you even get to give the dolphin signs to do tricks. The best part is when you swim out to a deeper end of the cove and the dolphin pulls you back to the shallow end. If you are buying pictures of the experience, make sure to try to keep your eyes open as much as possible during the swim. I have sensitive eyes and I also wear contacts so unfortunately my eyes were squinted shut for all of these pictures. You also get to have a photo op and give the dolphin a kiss. Where else can you do this?

The snorkeling adventure was super fun too! It took me a little bit to get used to all of the fish swimming around me but after a few minutes they didn't bother me.

This has a resort feel and it was relaxing which is something I didn't expect. They only let so many people through the doors each day (1,300 maybe but I can't remember for sure) and it never felt crowded which is a plus for an Orlando attraction. I am a busy body and usually I can't sit still but believe it or not I didn't want to leave here when it was time to go - I was that relaxed ;)

As far as the food goes - it really wasn't that bad at all. There was plenty for breakfast and lunch plus many snacks in-between.
