We had a fantastic day here. We arrived at approx 9am and got out dolphin swim time at 2.50. So if you hope to do your dolphin interaction earlier arrive early, I think you can book in from 7.30am.
We had a great breakfast then went to get our wet suit vests & masks. You need to take very little for your day, towels and sunscreen are provided, as well as unlimited drinks & snacks all day. We purchased underwater cameras on the way into the park which we used in the ray lagoon. We had lots of fun snorkelling as well as floating around the lazy river which feels like warm bath water.
We had a great lunch then waited for our dolphin swim. It was delayed a little due to a storm being near but this didn't matter as we didn't have to wait long. The wait was certainly worth it. We interacted with two dolphins one called Yoko & the other was calypso and all really enjoyed it. We were given loads of information about the dolphins and were encouraged to ask as many questions as we wanted.

Overall this was an expensive day but go early and make the most of it as we did. It's almost like being in a Caribbean oasis and a great break from visiting parks.

We went to discovery cove in July and had a great time. the dolphin swim is a most. You spend at least 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins. You get to kiss and touch the dolphins and communicate with them through hand signals. Then, you get to ride the dolphin for about 20 feet. The grand reef is fantastic. Great snorkeling! so many rays and fish. If you don't like snorkeling you can walk around the reef (it goes from about 2 feet to 13 feet) and see all the fish and the rays. the bird santuary was nice and we had some birds feed from our hands. the otter and monkey exhibit were just OK. The food overall was quite good including breakfast, lunch and snacks. I would definitely go back just for the dolphin enounter and the reef. Remember though get your pictures before 2:00 as the lines for the pictures are huge by 3:00. In my opinion if you do the dolphin encounter and arrive by 7:30, you can be done by 2:30 unless you really like to just relax on the beach. we were done by 2:30 and had our fill of DC.

Family spent five days in Orlando, the last one here and had a ball. We got there around 8:15 in time for breakfast then on to our dolphin time, which was very enjoyable. Lunch was good as well as open drinks. The great reef is really cool. We've snorkled a lot of place...the neat thing here is that you not going to be stung or bitten by anything and will see some pretty cool (sting rays, etc). I appreciated not being nicked and timed and although you pay a lot to go, it seems that they appreciate that you've spent a lot and expect a lot. This should be a top priority place for anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful place to have a relaxing day out. We done the deep sea dive this time and swam with the dolphins on a previous trip and both were really amazing experiences. Represents excellent value for money, with seaworld, aquatica and busch gardens tickets thrown in, and the lovely food and drink choices available throughout the day. A great way to unwind and rest up when you've had a busy few days in the Parks.

This was by far my favorite place we visited on our vacation. Swimming with the dolphins was better than I though it would be. You get to spend about 30 minutes in the water with them as the trainer answers any questions, has the dolphins do various tricks and lets the people in your group touch them. There about 6 people in groups which is perfect.
The Grand Reef is full of fish and sting rays. As you swim around you are surrounded by life. It's never very crowded so at times you are alone with all of this sea life surrounding you, it's an awesome experience.
The Windaway River was also a highlight, varying in depth from 3ft to 8ft it has an isolated feel that seems like you're in the middle of nowhere.
A few things to keep in mind.
Show up early so you can get you dolphin encounter scheduled early.
The water was cold in the dolphin water and grand reef. I chose the full wet suit instead of the vest and was very happy I did.
Bring a waterproof camera there are a lot of picturesque moments you won't want to miss.
I saw some people arrive in taxis, since it's an all inclusive and the beer can start to flow on hot days it may be a good idea to not have to drive back to your hotel.
We waited to eat lunch at 3:00 right when they stop serving and we didn't have to stand in line and there was still lots of food left.
