Having visited Discovery Cove in our first week of a two week stay in Florida, this was by far the best 'water park' in the 'Disney/ Sea World area.
This was the first water park we visited and every other seemed to be pale into insignificance.
A limit is set to how many visitors are allowed in the park daily which meant that the lazy river was just that and not a splash everyone, hit them with rubber rings and no kids doing laps around as fast as they could!
The food which is included was excellent starting with cooked and continental upon arrival. There was plenty of choice for lunch plus all the snacks and drinks (including alcohol) that you could consume :)
Swimming with the dolphins was an excellent experience and although my nephew who is 3 was too young to swim with them he was allowed into the pool to have a family photo with the dolphin.
The pool with the biggest sting rays and vast species of fish was suitable for all and a must.
The staff were excellent and couldn't help enough which made the experience all the more pleasant.
I would recommend Discovery Cove as a must visit to anyone who is doing the Disney parks, this place is far superior to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard beach, although they are mainly centred around the slides and thrill seeking.

We visited discovery cove as an adult couple. It was the perfect day. I highly recommend spending the extra cash on the undersea adventure, and forking out for the photos from EVERYTHING... Yes it makes it a more expensive day.... But I may only get to do this once in a lifetime.

The dolphins were fab, but I would honestly say the sting rays pool was the best. Head there first thing in the morning if you can for a bit more privacy.

And not having to carry money round all day because all your food and drink is included... Just makes life so much easier.

We would highly recommend this resort when you visit the area. We purchased a Discovery Cove dolphin swim, Aquatica & Seaworld package. Yes, it is pricey BUT the experience is totally worth the price. Our package also included unlimited food and beverages including alcohol. As well as unlimited admission to the other parks for 14 days before or after your visit to DC, must be consecutive days. We meet Astra and Diego both great dolphins! We did purchase the Ultimate photo package pricey but perfect way to capture our day as a family.

A must when you visit Orlando, snorkling was out of this world i could have floated round all day with the giant sting rays and fish, dolphin experience was brilliant had a good play with them followed by a short ride, yes the price of discovery cove outright seems a lot but it includes sea world and aquatica so actually it works out cheap for 3 days out, photos and dvd are expensive but get them as its a once in a lifetime experience although i do expect to go back

We took the whole family to have a day of fun and participate in the Dolphin swim. It was an amazing day. So much to do and see. All food and snacks are included. Even alcohol is included after 11 am. They provide snorkel gear, wetsuits, sunscreen and towels.
