Owner description: "Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

There is blocked due to construction. If you driving it is almost impossible to find parking in the evening. Some parts of the boardwalk is not accessible and the water taxi is not available probably due to construction.

“Lovely place!”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

My friend had her wedding reception here last september and it was such a beautiful, relaxing location and a nice change to the parks everyday. At night time it was very romantic and a better atmosphere with all of the lights reflecting off the water. There are lots of restaurants and shops to choose from and I would defiantly recommend an Italian restaurant there called 'Kouzzina'.

“Fun at night/boring during the day”
Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

We recently stayed at the Boardwalk Inn so we were on the Boardwalk each day. During the day, nothing is going on. Shops are open and some restaurants.
At night, the Boardwalk completely changes. All restaurants are open, including the carts. There is some thing to eat for everyone here from funnel cakes and hot dogs to the ESPN Club to an expensive seafood meal at Flying Fish. There are street performers, two person or family bikes to rent ($22 per half hour) and the lights are beautiful. If you rent a bike, you can ride around the lake at least twice in a half hour. The path takes you around by the Yacht and Breach Club.
While on the Boardwalk you can watch the Epcot fireworks at 9 pm from the bridge between the Boardwalk and the Beach Club and then at 9:45 - 10 pm you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
We ate at the ESPN Club. Great place to catch a game and enjoy some good food or a drink. The margarita cart has an amazing drink, not sure the correct name but it is a pineapple smoothie with Captain Morgan added to it.

“Relaxing after Park Craziness”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

We really enjoyed walking around the boardwalk since it was nice and quiet since we were taking a park break. Lots of restaurants and shops to look around in. Better to go at night, its a little boring and not much is going on during the daytime hours.
