Owner description: "Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

There are some venues that seem underutilized, Jelly Rolls is one, dead on a weekend. Strolling by the lake was nice. The place is missing something that I can't put my finger on. Just not like the Real boardwalks that I have strolled along.

The Boardwalk is amazing. Parking is free and there was only a fraction of the crowd that we fought at Downtown Disney. The walk was great and the views spectacular! We were there for hours and didn't have to spend a dime.

This is the old-time New Jersey boardwalk feeling. You may have missed that era but this will recapture your heart's feelings of that time. The food choices in the varied restaurants offer selections for couples and families, prices are Disney. There is a boat service here that will take you to other parks and several resort hotels, a great feature. If you're staying at Disney Boardwalk Hotel you have made a perfect choice. This is a fun place to spend an evening, the free entertainment changes on the boardwalk so every night is different fun. Great place to enjoy the time, view or just take a round trip boat ride.

This resort is a beautiful property with nice rooms and villas as well. The back features and actual "boardwalk" surrounding a lake and they have some excellent restaurants including an ESPN Zone. The staff here is very helpful and the walk to the back gate of Epcot is literally 8 - 10 minutes. The Christmas decorations were really nice and when the weather is great, it really is a nice place to walk around and explore. The only thing the staff needs to improve, is recognizing repeat visitors or Disney "frequent fliers."

We enjoyed the boardwalk - Earl of Sandwich is delicious, there are lots of other choices for food and some nice shops, as well as lots of Disney shops of course. There's a very posh chocolate shop, their milkshakes are amazing. The fixed not air balloon is here too, make sure you get in the queue early if you want a sunset view, they kept ys waiting so long we missed it so got a refund. Overall would recommend the Boardwalk
