“Osprey Ridge is Back”

Thank Goodness, a great golf course, with excellent conditioning. Although, the roughs are still a little rough from overseeding this winter, the greens tees and fairways are spot on... Cant wait to come back and play, the best it has looked in years..

“Look Elsewhere”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

For the money, there are way better golf courses in the general area. When our reservation was made, there was no mention of a temporary hole being used as hole #1. The course was in decent shape but the temporary cart path taken to get to hole #2 was very rough and dusty.

The bigger complaint we had was we could not take the golf carts to the car to load and unload. The system they have to do this for you is a bit dysfunctional and it took us quite a while to find our clubs prior to play. The staff was not nearly as friendly as they were at Magnolia course, and even appeared to be a bit snotty.

“Disappointing experience”
Reviewed May 3, 2012

We have visited this golf course 3 times previously and had a fantastic experience. We took our friends yesterday, having told them how fantastic the course was, only to be let down. One of the lakes was covered in algae, the course had been altered, due to construction of a new resort, our cart still had the previous players card on the cart, the snickers we purchased off the refreshment cart were VERY soft { have you thought of chilling!!} the greens were only adequate and the fairways had been scarrified and we were STILL charged the normal rate.
We will definitely not be bringing friends to the course again.. Consider your position very carefully.

“Great course and quiet area”
Reviewed April 11, 2012

My wife and I played 6 differents golf course during our recent stay, Champion gates international, Waldorf Astoria, Lake buena vista, Southern Dunes, Magnolia and Osprey Ridge.

Osprey Ridge was in great shape, fairways were nice and greens in good shape, the only complaint we have is the temporary cart path between hole 1 and hole 2 and after hole 18. Baesd on our comparisons it ranked 3 to 4 in our golf course that we played

The front nine is not too difficult compare to the back nine. There is nothing around the golf course except wild forest and the construction of the new Four Seasons hotel-complex.

Before it gets to busy please have fun on the course, especially it was not busy on Easter Sunday at all
